Can't Think of Much To Say
May. 1st, 2007 10:26 pm-D: Work draining the life out of you?-
-VD2: Not according to the way she was jumping around to the Mask Theme Song just a few minutes ago.-
I needed to unwind, cut me a break. Work's been muy busy lately -- I managed to start the Narbonic/BTTF crossover (still titleless) and get a page done on "From the Ashes Reborn" today, but it was a close thing. Barely got anything done yesterday.
-DW: Can I ask who this "Louis Carrol" person is that's been invading your thoughts? He seems to be linked to role-playing games for some reason.-
-RPD: O.o?-
Yeah, dunno what triggered me thinking about him. . . A while ago, somebody asked what sort of characters we'd make once the Girl Genius RPG Powered by GURPS book came out. Since I was majorly on my Wonderland high then, I came up with Louis. He's basically a bit like a much nicer Jervis Tetch from Batman and the American McGee's Mad Hatter combined -- obsessed with the Alice In Wonderland books, fancies himself the Mad Hatter, and has a talent for the mechanical. However, he's a geniune nice guy -- loves kids. And he gets adorably flustered whenever he meets an Alice.
-RPD: Sounds interesting. Though aren't you jumping the gun, creating him before the book comes out?-
Yeah, I know. Who knows how long it'll be before it comes out. Please hurry, Kaja!
-VD: In the meantime, can you get back to work on my story?-
Heartiest apologies, I'll do that tomorrow.
-OD: And how about some fan art? You've sucked up that spider near your sketchbook, now why don't you draw--
And as it's May and Spider-Man 3 shall be out very shortly, I suppose I should start typing "The Gift and the Curse."
-OD: *tentacles squeal* -- and I'll shut up now.-
*smug*
-HD: *pouring teacups from his pot* Do you think it'll be any good? You certainly seemed to like the the first two, from what I've heard and seen. *motions at OckDoc*-
Oh, yeah, the Spidey movies rock so far. But number 3 is always the tricky film. I liked X-Men, loved X-Men 2, but X-Men 3 crashed and burned. And let's not even TALK about T-3.
-HD: T-3?-
-VD: Terminator 3. She's a huge fan of the second movie, but the third one --
THEY COULDN'T EVEN GET JOHN'S AGE RIGHT!
-VD2: She really liked those films back in the day. I miss Austin, actually -- he took some of the pressure off of us.-
Okay, now I'm going to have to look up bad reviews once I'm done on LiveJournal.
-VD2: Just don't forget to do some more with "What Lies Within," at least.-
I'll try not to. I'd like to have that done by the end of this month, at least. Though by this point, I'm going to have to rewrite the beginning of "True Hero" a bit. Eh, probably needs it.
-DW: You're going to have to repost "Abominable Doc" too -- the timeline's all crazy now.-
Yeah, but I had to bump it up because of "Congraduation." Ye Gods, too much editing!
-TD: *pats on back* Breathe, girl, it'll all be okay. You don't have to do it all right this second.-
I know, I know. Let's concentrate on the main ones -- "Boy Genius," "V.D.," "Marty In Wonderland," for editing, "What Lies Within," "The Gift and the Curse," and drabbles88s for typing.
-RPD: And Sims, but you knew that.-
Heh, yeah. Ugh, wish I had a real-world time machine. . . .
-D: Sorry, can't help you there. But we're here if you need us.-
Thanks, I know. :)
Anyway,
eurekasims updates -- yesterday was Emma, and I'm about to do one on Allison. See ya.
