Schedule Changes
Jun. 12th, 2007 09:51 pm-VD: Our esteemed author is working the morning shift for the rest of the week -- 8 to 3. This requires her getting up by at least 6:30. She is not particularly happy about this.-
-D: We're not sure how to feel about it, frankly. We'll have to see if it inspires anything in the way of updates.-
-HD: *sigh* Probably not. I think she's stuck in a holding pattern of some sort.-
-VD2: Yeah, exhaustion. Don't worry, folks, we'll be making sure she gets to bed on time this night.-
-TD: On the plus side, she's getting a raise, and the past two days have been quiet enough to allow for 1 1/2 pages each day on "A Note of Madness."-
-OD: "The Gift and the Curse" is also speeding right along. *tentacles chatter* Yes, I know, now if only she'd draw something. . . .-
-DW: Plot bunnies remain fairly plentiful. I think we can safely classify "El Goonish Shive" as a new favorite webcomic -- she's thinking up BTTF-ized versions of some of the story lines. I must say, she came up with an interesting idea on how that Dewitchery Diamond might affect Marty.-
-MF: O.o?-
-M: Wha? You mean -- just plain old me?-
-DW: Yes -- the idea behind the Dewitchery Diamond is that it separates someone from their curse -- LITERALLY. You end up with two of the same person -- the formerly-cursed person who can still access their curse in a more controlled form, and the embodiment of the cursed person who can spread the curse.-
-M2: We're not cursed, though.-
-DW: You have time traveled. She uses doubled memories, remember? She thinks that if you touched it, we might get you and a version of you who only has the memories of the world pre-time travel. Lone Pine Marty and Twin Pines Marty.-
-D: Hmmm. That would be interesting. But how would Twin Pines Marty spread the curse if the curse is memories?-
-DW: Not sure -- her current idea is "living flux capacitor."-
-VuM: You mean like Clockstopper from the BTTF/X-Men crossover?-
-DW: Sort of, only he jumps through time instead of stopping it.-
-VuM: I say keep it -- why should YOU get all the cool powers?-
-RPD: Hey now, she DOES generally share. You have your wing harness.-
-VuM: Not in most of the stories, though.-
-VD: You're more of an exception, though. My Marty has Partial powers, VampDoc's is a full-fledged vampire, MartyFox has similar abilities to DocWolf --
-VuM: *laugh* Okay, I get it.-
-RPD: Anyway, you'll probably be seeing more short, list-style updates rather than longwinded novels featuring us. Part of the reason she let us do this particular update -- she doesn't want us feeling neglected.-
-TD: *holding up a new and improved poking stick* Little danger of that, I think.-
