TOO F'ING HOT

The waterpark has become a top priority for my boys. I swear I saw some faces that weren't mine out there today, helping man the air pumps and such.
-DW: *now fully in summer coat* Yes, a few of gigs_83's boys stopped by to lend a hand. Clock-Killer Fox and Nameless Jack also put in brief appearances -- I get the feeling our waterpark is going to be very popular.-
I bet. How are all the inflatables holding up?
-TD: *proud of himself* Perfectly! We just need to inflate the tallest slides now and set up the water system.-
Jesus, the way you guys were working today, I thought you had it all done.
-OD: Not quite -- we took lots of breaks, and of course the vampires ended up napping quite a bit.-
-VD: *looking at VampDoc2* Well, maybe we can get a start on things while the rest of you sleep.-
-VD2: We should be able to handle that air pump on our own, after all.-
-TD: Just be careful, it's temperamental.-
-HD: *tries to hand me a glass of iced tea* Here, dear, I'm sure you could -- GAH! *leaps backward*-
-D: O.o? What is it?-
-HD: *front now soaked with ice tea* I -- I -- VICTORIA!-
What? I'm hot.
-D: *abruptly horrified* For the love of Thomas Edison, Victoria, PLEASE TELL ME YOU'RE WEARING CLOTHES BEHIND THAT CHAIR!-

-DW: GAH!-
-VD: Victoria!-
-VD2: Put your nightgown on, at least!-
What?! I'm hidden behind the chair! None of you are being inflicted with my nearly-naked body! And I am hot!
-VD2: Still!-
-RPD: What happens when Victor comes back from the Inkwell? If he sees you like that --
-HD: We won't get any ice cream!-

-RPD: We sent him to get sundaes. He'll faint if he sees you like that! He's not comfortable seeing his own Victoria like that!-
-TD: Besides, aren't you sticking to the leather?-
Fine, fine. *changes as the boys cover their eyes* Better?
-D: Muchly. HONESTLY, Victoria. . . .-
It's not like I haven't seen you stumbling around in your boxers occasionally.
-VD2: That's on the way to the shower, not typing in LiveJournal!-
-HD: We ought to come up with a list of things authors aren't allowed to do. If fan authors are allowed to dictate to their muses. . . .-

Anyway, now that I've probably given you all the impression I'm a total pervert, just a few things:
-->The main Girl Genius site is down! Bandwidth exceeded, apparently. Despite this, Phil and Kaja STILL plan to update, via the LJ girlgeniuscomic. These guys refuse to skip an update for anything.

-->The heat, I think, is inspiring my current building mood in Sims. I visited Riverblossom Hills to build a giant waterpark. Super Splash Water World, Version 2:

The area with the mountains is the "lazy river." Then we have a kiddie pool, a big regular pool, and another arrow pool (I like making them!) The building is the bathrooms and what will be a small restaurant. There's also hot tubs for the adults. A few detail shots:

Experimenting with pool walls/floors -- the kiddie pool got a turtle theme, while the lazy river has a different type of blue walls and floor.
-RPD: Makes me want to jump right in. Why put it in Riverblossom Hills, though?-
I plan to stick it in the Lots bin afterwards and stamp it into my other neighborhoods. :)
-RPD: Ahhhhh. . . .-
And now, I plan to get a cold drink before yanking the comforter off my bed and attempting sleep. I thought we were supposed to get thunderstorms, cool things down a bit?
