Boiler Broke at Work

So I was bored out of my mind for most of the day. (Without the boiler, we can't clean or press, which makes leaving the store open an excercise in futility, in my opinion.) Not to mention everyone seemed to leave early EXCEPT me. Even the boss took off for an hour or so to nap! *grumblemutter*

Let's not dwell on that -- we have a triple birthday to report on later, and I've got an interesting meme to post. I Googled "Fandom By Proxy" to see if it existed previous to my mentioning it -- it did, though I didn't get a lot of hits. I did, however, find a meme! Line up, everyone:

Happy Birthday To Three!

It's Jennifer's (Claudia Wells's) birthday, Huey Lewis's birthday, and my Dad's birthday. Which is nice, because I don't have to worry about cake.

You know, I just realized that, according to my system, both Doc and Marty's canonical girlfriends share their birthday with someone the boys admire -- Clara with Jules Verne, Jennifer with Huey Lewis.
-TTV: How odd.-
-HD: But very fortuitous. Now Marty never has to worry about forgetting Jennifer's birthday.-
-WRM: *grin* VERY big plus.-
-DJ: *giggle*-
-M2: Anyway, we decided to stick to the usual girly staples for presents this year.-
-J2: Perfume, jewelry, all of that? I can get behind that.-
-AJ: Who got what, though?-
-VuM: *grin* We made little kits. *hands over a gift basket with a small bottle of perfume (Calvin Klein brand, naturally), a pair of drop earrings, some bath salts, and a small thing of candy.* Happy birthday.-
-AJ: Ooo, smells great.-
-JenniferCat: Tastes great too, I'm sure. Are those chocolate-covered mice?-

-VDM: *shrugs* Though, really, since it was made for a friend, I'd put my money on automatic hair styler as well.-

A tree.
-VJ: O.o?-
*shrug* She wanted a birdcage, but I had no room, so I decided to play them through their finals to see if she'd spin up another want -- and, apparently due to it turning to spring over there, she spun up the want for an orchard tree. As did Marty and Marion. So I got you guys a lemon tree.
-AJ: Oookay.-
-RPD: Just glad to see you make a return to weekday Sims. I was getting worried there.-
Heh, yeah. It was nice to see everyone again too. I'll get back on schedule eventually, don't worry.
-VD2: We're Dr. Brown. We can't help but worry.-

Anyway, I suppose I'd better go update revison_doc fast. You guys staying here or going to the Inkwell?
-J: We'll stay here for a bit longer. We want to see the tree.-
