Hold your horses, I've got a drabbles88 I'm pounding into final form. And now that freewebtown's back up, I'll probably be posting Chapter 10 of "Boy Genius" soon.
-TD: How many times have we heard that?-
I'm getting sick of hearing it myself, which improves the chances of it actually going up. Chapter 11 might need a bit cut out of it.
-TD: The issue of Gil's parentage?-
I'm waffling. I love the Giesterdamen idea, but it makes you wonder how Klaus didn't know Lucrezia was the other sooner. Might make more sense for a Skifanderian. It wouldn't really affect too much.
-VDM: You know, for all the Docs say that you torture them, you run us Martys through the wringer pretty effectively too. I die, Narbonic!Marty goes crazy, VultureMarty was captured by the Libyans, VampMarty was abused by Biff and his cronies and shot, Marty2 was attacked by a soulless vampire, and Marty--
-M: Dude, we get the point.-
Yes, I am an equal-opportunity angst mistress. But I do tend to pay you all back for the angst. Marty's got the cool telepathic bond with Doc, Marty2 has some vampiric powers, VampMarty's a full-blooded vampire, VultureMarty gets the harness, Narbonic!Marty becomes the Narbonic equivalent of a Spark --
-VDM: Yeah, but I mostly stay the same.-
-TD: You have an incredible talent on the guitar and I think she's quietly having you invent rock'n'roll in the Girl Genius universe. Remember how I commented on you having a unique sound?-
-VDM: *brightens* Hey, yeah!-
I'm starting to think you're getting an inferiority complex.
-VDM: Well, it's just that all the other Martys seem special, and I'm -- I'm just TeenDoc's lab assistant.-
-MF: . . . You are aware most of us think you have guts we'll never have? TeenDoc in the lab--
-TD: Hey!-
Yeah, inferiority complex. Doc, would you mind calling Gypsy and your trilogy counterparts to slap some sense into this kid?
-D: *slightly puzzled* All right. But why the Trilogy "muses?"-
-DW: Well, they're the most normal of all of us.-
-D: *gets it* Oh, I see. Right. *goes to call*-
-J: And on another note, what about US?-
-J2: WE'RE the normal ones around here.-
-VJ: Um, mostly.-
-H: You seem kind of Marty and Doc biased when it comes to handing out the superpowers, ya know.-
I can't help it, they're the main characters! Though things are more even in your universe, you know -- Clara as a strong construct, Jennifer as "Lady Deathstrike." Same with the OckDoc universe.
-VuM: *on the ground for once* Yeah, that one's biased in favor of Doc and Clara.-
-AJ: Well, you do get the wing harness at the end.-
Actually, I've got plans for a X-Duology/OckDocumentary crossover that turns you into a Sandman.
-AJ: O.o??-
I haven't figured out all the details yet.
-OD: *tentacles chitter* You like doing crossovers between similar universes, don't you? That's approximately the third one you have planned.-
It is, isn't it? There's the Vampire Doc Chronicles/Night and Day crossover I plan to write, then I have ideas for the aforementioned X-Duology/OckDocumentary crossover, and naturally a Let's Get Sparky/Back To Narbonic (Boy Genius/A Note of Madness) crossover.
-DW: Not to mention that recurring idea that not only mixes all of us in, but adds in versions of us from OTHER PEOPLE'S fanfiction.-
Well, I can't write that one. Not in it's current form, anyway.
-MF: Got an idea for NaNoWriMo this time?-
Heh, maybe. Let's see what happens with my updating schedule.
-RPD: *pokes* Speaking of update schedules, I believe you owe me a revison_doc update. And what about the townspeople of Eureka? You have to prep them for a future update?-
I know, I know! I wanted to do eurekasims Emmett's date first. I'll get to it.
-M: I still can't believe she set that Doc with one of the evil Gym coaches.-
Me either. The creepiest thing, though? She came back -- at 1:00 in the freaking morning!
-RPD: . . . What is it with that version of me and eldery women stalkers?!-
I know! Not to mention the harem you could build. The guy's got potential love interests out the wazoo. I really wanted to give him a three bolt love, though. . . .
-VM: *jokingly* Always Garrett.-
-RPD: *pokes him in the ribs*-
-VM: Gah, you're cold!-
