*pokes around BTTF.net*
Jul. 17th, 2007 10:10 pmYou know, despite the fact the Minimates are kind of creepy, I think I'm going to buy them anyway. They've disturbingly grown on me.
-D: All right, who saw this coming?-
*big show of hands*
Ha ha ha. I still don't like that the Doc one has Wolverine hair. *ponders* I wonder if Millionaire Playboy has anything to say on the subject? They did an interesting cover of the Kubricks.
-VD: I'm sure they will when the sets officially come out.-
-TTV: *looking a bit lost* Kubricks?-
*points to the figures on her shelf*
-TTV: Oh, those things. I wasn't sure what they were called.-
Well, now you are. *frowns at her small collection* Damn, I wish they'd released more of them outside of Japan. The ones on eBay are beyond pricey. *scowls* Japan gets all the good BTTF stuff -- the one halfway decent BTTF videogame, most of the BTTF Kubricks, and after September 3rd, the last remaining BTTF ride.
-M: *scowls* Stupid Simpsons.-
Yeah, I know. I'm really tempted to take a week off and fly down to California and have a pleasure trip. Of course, it would mean goodbye savings. . . .
-OD: *tentacles chatter* We're for the trip, of course. But the ultimate decision is up to you.-
Suppose it wouldn't hurt to look at plane fares. . . .
Anyway, got some editing done on "V.D." and "Marty In Wonderland." I think my lull is starting to fade.
-VD+HD: *clink glasses*-
And "A Note of Madness" is clipping along nicely.
-TD: If you can say that about the part you're currently writing. Seeing Marty's troubles made me realize just how easy I had it.-
-VDM: Yeah, I know! Ouch.-
Don't worry, he'll get better. He's all right as an Inspiration, isn't he?
-VDM: Yeah. Relatively speaking.-
Uh, true.
-RPD: Any Sims today?-
Some -- I was gonna play Emma Heterobach, but I decided to do some catch-up work with the villagers instead. Melody is not having a happy pregnancy. :( Constantly in need of fun, food, comfort -- the works. REALLY glad they added leftovers to this game.
-RPD: Poor Melody. Then again, this could be par for the course, considering how long it took you to impregnate her.-
Yeah, maybe she's not built for pregnancy. I also visited Barty -- he's finally best friends with his potential bride, so I'll have him pop the question soon. He's also the first Sim I've seen mess up at the chocolate-making station, making a puddle. Too bad no toddlers were around to taste it and go hyperactive. :p

-RPD: A Sims toddler hyped up on chocolate?! That's terrifying!-
*snort* I see you don't like them whining any more than I do.
-RPD: Who does? I just hope you don't get a Seasons demon child when Gypsy gives birth.-
Keep your fingers crossed.
-DW: *sniffs a plotbunny* Your "spring break" bunny is back again.-
Blame Little Mana -- she's writing a story called "Marty's Spring Break," and it got me to thinking about my PreTime version.
-M2: Ah, yeah, more me angst. I swear, Doc, she tortures us more than any other fanauthor ever.-
-VD: Oh, I agree!-
-VD2: There was any doubt after "Dark Half?"-
This one's nowhere near as bad as that.
-VuM: Oh? You forget, we were around when you had norovirus.-
You'll be well taken care of, I swear. Anyway, I may start on it as a secondary project. Needs a title, though. . . .
-VM: "More of Marty Getting Hurt and Doc Expressing His Fatherly Side Toward Him."-
Need something just a tad shorter.
-MF: "More Pointless Angst."-
-VD2: "If I Had It, I'm Inflicting It On My Characters."-
That's really more of a Moose thing.
-HD: "Sickly Intentions?"-
*pause* Actually, that could work. I'll keep it in mind.
-WRM: I'd be careful about suggesting titles to her -- she might decide to write that "how we met" story.-
-M: She already covered that --
-WRM: No, how HatterDoc and I met. The Hypothermia thing, remember?-
-HD: *horrified* Your next drabbles88 has to be funny!-
Heh, don't worry, my humorous side hasn't completely abandoned me. I'm sure I can come up with something.
