-RPD: O.o? I thought you were doing pretty well at Super BTTF II.-
-M: Yeah, from what I've seen, you kick butt.-
-MF: Yeah, "ph34r our mad hoverboarding skillz" and all that.-
For the most part. But I'm getting MY butt kicked on the level codednamed WOLF.
-VD: When were wolves a problem for us?-
-M2: Trilogy!Me faced down a bear.-
I actually don't think the level codes necessarily have anything to do with the levels -- they just need four-letter words for continues. WOLF actually features the Jazzman (I think he's supposed to be a member of Biff's gang, just with musical talent.)
-M: The who?-
-VuM: We're musicians! We can beat any Jazzman!-
Yeah -- the problem is, you can't beat balls.
-VM: . . . You're losing us here.-
Okay, you know how in the Griff boss stages, you can use things on the screen to beat Griff up? The TVs in the Cafe boss stage, and the fountain in the pond one? *nodnods from others* Well, in Jazzman, you're on a platform above the Jazzman. The middle of this platform can be taken out, and you've got three random black balls bouncing around up there with you. The goal is to take out the middle of the platform and let the balls fall on this guy. There's pipes on the side to bring them back to the top, and a machine slowly replaces the platform. Marty can go down there and hit him the normal way too, and use the pipes to get back up.
-VDM: Uh, okay. . . .-
-TD: And we thought this one was closer to the movie.-
Well, it is for the most part. Like I said, I think the Jazzman is actually somebody from the gang. Now, my problem isn't hitting the Jazzman with the balls -- it's not being hit myself! I really wish Marty had a bigger lifebar sometimes. Three hits is just not enough in that level.
-VDM: *playfully pats chest* That's what one-ups are for.-
*snork*
-OD: Still having sprite idea comics because of the game?-
Yeah, though I do wonder how the heck you make them. The tutorial I found WAS in Paint. *puzzled*
-DW: Practice makes perfect, and if you put your mind to it--
"You can accomplish anything," right.
-D: How about the writing front?-
Working on "15th Surprise" DVD cut, finished inital draft of my BTTF/Harry Potter drabbles88. Gonna give it another lookover before putting it up.
-VD2: *nodnod* It's something.-
Yeah, I know. Sorry about the lack of work this weekend.
-TD: Oh, trust us, we understand. Harry Potter knocked our socks off too.-
-HD: Quite the engaging series! I like Luna.-
So do I. :) And Neville-fans, you will be THRILLED.
Okay, time to hit Google in (probably vain) hope of finding some game tips for Super BTTF II, and check the HMS STFU again. Amusing things are happening in fandom.
-HD: *passes around popcorn*-
