". . .Maybe You Were Adopted."
Nov. 7th, 2007 10:04 pmSchool daze -- Doc and Marty find themselves in a dilemma as they attempt to get Lorraine and George together at Hill Valley High. George is revealed as Nerd Boy Extraordinaire, while Lorraine only has eyes for "Calvin." Doc gets to excercise his sesquipedalian loquaciousness via dance poster, and a plan is reached -- set George and Lorraine up for the Enchantment Under the Sea dance. Unfortunately, George is too shy to ask Lorraine, and Marty defending Lorraine against Biff doesn't help matters. Eventually, George declares to Marty that he's not going to the dance, and that "no one on this planet is going to make me change my mind." Problem is, Marty has sci-fi knowledge he can use against him. . . .
-J: You make it sound so omnious.-
Well, for George I bet it was.
-M: Yeah, not every day Darth Vader shows up in his rarely-seen yellow suit to terrorize you into going on a date.-
-MHG: Sounds like fun to me!-
-M: . . .-
Aanyway, not much to say at the moment. Been a bit of a stalled-out day for fanfiction. Store was busier than it has been -- nevertheless, I got a page and a half on "Cinder-Marty" and a page on "Corpse Mask." Would have gotten more, but I need to do research.
-D: Research?-
I need to know what was in Stanley's pockets during the frisking scene, so I know what to stick in Victor's.
-TTV: *is already present and holding the DVD*-
Faaaanboy
-TTV: I merely enjoy a good comedy!-
As for "When Worlds Collide" and "You Look Interesting," I've made some progress, but not a lot.
-VD2: Off day?-
That, and I spent most of my evening reading "Ozy and Millie." Doesn't exactly help when your stories are angstful.
-HD: *cheeky grin*-
-VD: Oh, that's easy to fix. Just read what EVERY OTHER FANAUTHOR WE KNOW is writing lately.-
*snork* Little tired of the angstfest?
-VD:
foxywriter's HVC Marty is having his usual adaptation problems, Geno has his evil fae, and
martyfan is writing about evil in SG-1.-
-M2: We'd say more, but we know there would be a grave price for spoilers.-
Heh. It's not all doom and gloom, ya know.
-DW: That's hard to believe when you spend work refining Andrew's personality.-
*shrug* What can I say? Work breeds evil. Any of my friends will tell you that.
-OD: *tentacles chatter* I wouldn't say that's why we're self-employed, kids. That's just a different brand of evil.-
*nodnod*
-RPD: Any plans for the Sims?-
Honestly? I don't know. NaNo wouldn't exactly be a good time for playing anyway. Still, I miss the little buggers, so we'll try something else going into the weekend.
-TD: Never saw the day she'd put YOU out of a job.-
-RPD: *teasingly* It's because she won't let you touch her computer.-
The evil will infect him. I'd let him build his own, but babbage engines don't come in microscopic size.
-TD: Get me Agatha, Gil, and the Narbonic Doc and Marty, and we'll see how long that lasts.-
Fair enough, yeah.
Okay, I really should get writing. If I can't do angst, I have request fics to finish.
