Um. . . "Random Silence"
Nov. 10th, 2007 10:04 pmSorry, folks, empty day in canon, so I'm not sure what the guys said.
-M: Doc was doing the technical talk stuff -- we were making sure the DeLorean was ready for time travel.-
*nodnod* Makes sense. Somebody suggested you guys would be driving the DeLorean around a bit, to help Doc with his previous calculations.
-D: Only after dark, on deserted streets.-
Well, that's given.
Despite this day not being mentioned in canon, I chose to watch Part I today. To spice up the experience, I put on the Animated Ancedotes -- someone mentioned them on the BTTF.com MB recently, so why not?
-VD: Any particular reason you spent the entire afternoon afterwards NOT WRITING, then?-
*hangs head in shame* Addictive TV Tropes. I also made the mistake of looking up "The Empty Child/The Doctor Dances" on Wikipedia.
-TD: Er, what?-
Doctor Who episode I'd seen on there. Gas masks are now FUCKING SCARY.
-J2: This was ever in DOUBT?-
-VD2: More detail is needed, Victoria.-
Simply put, we had some sort of nanogene thing that could instantly fix up people sampling a dead child with a gas mask, and never having been exposed to human genes, thought that was the proper configuration. Result? Gas-masked zombies calling for Mummy. I also saw an animated gif of the Master gassing his cabinet recently, which was kind of creepy in and off itself.
-VD2: Where did you see that?-
Guess. It was under the "You're Insane" article -- he gave the person who called him that while dying a double thumbs-up.
-RPD: You're just a little bundle of contradictions, aren't you? You read a webcomic about Hell rather faithfully, and came up with people like Jack, but gas masks and spiders make you freak out.-
-HD: I'd say she'd fit in in Wonderland, but that implies Wonderland is more American McGee than Disney.-
-TD: Then just say she'd fit in in A Wonderland. Hell, she crushes on Richard anyway.-
*blush* I'm insane, I admit it.
Anyway, yeah, kinda stalled out on the NaNo at the moment. Hopefully I can make it up later, but let's have a word count post anyway:
Not too shabby, but yeah, gotta get to work on that. Also the request fics to post. Been a lazy, lazy Vicky.
-DW: Having said that, we just know she's going to go on TV Tropes again.-
-OD: *tentacles chatter* Oh no she isn't -- you've freaked yourself out enough for one night, missy.-
Hey, I'm not reading anything scary!
-OD: At the moment. Go write.-
It's innocent video games --
-MF: Oh no you don't! I can already see where this is heading! No more Silent Hill Valley bunnies!-
-WRM: Or American McGee's Marty!-
*rolls eyes* Yet, the NaNo project that has them all captured by JACK. . . .
