NaNo Word Count and Book News

Started off slow, but a tense confrontation between Jack and the Docs got me back into the groove. (Jack basically threatened to let one of the Martys drop into Eastwood Ravine unless the Docs backed off.)

Yeah, I know. And he and Amina got more lines about the squicky romance. *shudder*

In regards to my Changeling book -- I'd asked online if the Providence Place Borders could reserve a copy of the book for me. Unfortunately, it appears their online status didn't actually reflect what the store really had -- sold out. So we canceled the trip and started looking for ways to order online. We encountered a comic place that claimed to have lots of copies in stock -- but when we went to the website, there was nothing indicating they actually had the book. Search inventory turned up nada. Another place had it for an inflated price and iffy shipping. Amazon's page said it could take up to eight weeks to get a copy for any orders.
-RPD: Didn't this book come out LAST MONTH?!-
I know! Not even WHITE WOLF has any in stock in their online store! It's amazing! I was starting to give up hope.
Then we found one last place -- Griffon Games. Mom found the book, then sent off an e-mail to the guy asking about shipping and having it soon and all that.
Guy gets back to it with one of the nicest online seller's e-mail's I've seen. Turns out shipping in the US is FREE, and he's actually willing to put a copy of the book on hold with my name on it for a week to make sure I can grab it! Dude, we're sold! :D

Eh, I might get away with asking for that one for Christmas. ;) But yeah, looks like I'll be getting "Autumn Nightmares" soon. I'm mainly interested in the True Fae section, but hobgoblins and fetches should be really good too.

Hun? Would it make you feel better if I said you could pour a whole potful of hot tea down Andrew's pants in the NaNo? I'll guarantee it hurting.

Back to writing, I have wordcount to make up. Also want to work on getting the Changeling characters statted out. And tomorrow, I think I'm gonna spend some time trying to get Sims back. Reading revison_doc's and eurekasims's friendslists is becoming almost painful.
