Movie-Watching Day
Jan. 19th, 2008 11:22 pmWatched "The Mask" over lunch, so at least Victor's happy with me.
-TTV: *gringringrin*-
And now I have a better grip on the sequence of things for "Corpse Mask."
-TTV: How much of the movie is actually going into the story?-
I'm not sure. A lot of it has to be adapted for the Corpse Bride universe -- I can't use a club, and I'm having some minor issues with the guns. A couple of the jokes depend on very rapid gunfire, and I'm not sure how good that was back then. I'm including most of the major sequences, though. Except for "Cuban Pete," unfortunately. :( I can't figure out how to fit it into the story properly, sad to say. I'm already stretching things in some aspects.
-TTV: *pout*-
I know, it's one of my favorite bits too. But you can't force it, otherwise the story goes straight to hell.
I've also finally finished the Psychonauts playlist. On reflection, I wish I'd given into my darker desires and watched Clock Tower or Rule of Rose, because that carries less chance of YouTube Obsession.
-D: We really DO need to make a rule about you OWNING a game before you get obsessed with it.-
Actually, I think Steam has this one too.
-D: O.o? I thought that was for the X-Box or one of those things?-
Nope, there's a PC version. Apparently it's not as great as the console version, but I'm not buying a console for one game.
-RPD: It's a little odd, seeing you interested in games besides Sims.-
It's weird, yeah! Of course, me being me, I want to MAKE Sims of some of these characters.
-HD: *cheeky* Fred and Sasha?-
. . . Well, come on, Fred would be perfect for an asylum challenge!
-DW: That again? Victoria, you know you'd go mad if you weren't allowed to micromanage them all.-
I know, but it's still a fun dream. Must do something to solve Sims tomorrow.
-RPD: *pokitypokepoke in agreement*-
-OD: How about fanfic? *Jules* People are waiting for Chapter 5!-
I know, I know! Got copies up now in WordPerfect.
-VD2: As for the rest of us, we'll take a Psychonauts/BTTF crossover to get it out of your system.-
-VD: Not that sticking us with psychic powers is anything new for you.-

One of Sasha's first uses of his power was to read his father's mind for info on his mother, who'd died shortly after Sacha was born. He found out some sweet stuff about his father considering her an angel for sure now.
Then he stumbled into Ye Olde Sexual Memory/Fantasy land.
He left home shortly afterwards.
-M2: . . . Oh, so we have something sort-of in common.-
Yeah, though time-traveling back and having your mother develop a crush on you probably trumps his awkward experience.
-VuM: Gonna have to agree there.-
-TD: How do we know Fred will probably make an appearance as well?-
You don't. I like Fred AND Sasha.
-MHG: What's so special about Fred anyway? Do you like large noses or something?-
-HD: *frowns at MHG, then examines reflection in spoon* *quietly* Large nose?-
No no -- I guess I was kinda predisposed toward it -- someone I like on devART's done art of him, so I kinda knew him already. And he's cute! He got a heart-melter line: "You'll have to excuse me. I'm busy losing a battle with my sanity here." The tone of voice -- it's adorable.
-TD: *rolls eyes* Maybe you just like seeing people in strait-jackets.-

-TD: Victoria? *getting nervous* Victoria, this pause is getting out of "ha ha" territory and into "oh my god she has a bondage fetish* territory.-
Not true!

Unbuckled is fine as well. *shame*

Argh, what is it with me and loonies?!

-TD: Why couldn't her clothing fetishes have stuck to Victorian outerwear?-

Sweetheart, their designs are similar enough to yours that I've already imagined you in the game. *pause* As a patient in the asylum.
