Is Bored And Doesn't Have Much To Say
Feb. 15th, 2008 11:38 pmYay weekend, at least. I'll be able to sleep in (screw whoever says its bad for you!) and maybe catch a movie. I'm in the mood for either Corpse Bride or Wallace and Gromit: The Curse of the Wererabbit. Though, now that football season is over, I suppose I could watch both.
-TTV: *looks pouty for some reason*-
What's with you?
-TTV: I don't like that Quartermaine fellow sharing my name. Too much like Barkis.-
LoL, poor Victor. Just remember, he suffers many vast humilations.
-TD: Any writing progress?-
Got that extra page and a half on "Cinder-Marty." I hate to say it, but I'm feeling tired and uncreative right now.
-VD2: Hence the obsessive browsing of TV Tropes.-
I'm in the Comedy section -- don't get on my back about horror.
-VD2: Fair enough.-
-RPD: I saw you playing Alice earlier -- have fun?-
Yup! I'm up to about midway through Herbaceous Border. Though I'm wondering if I somehow got a sequence backwards or something now. The video Rain1024 (the playlister who did Psychonauts) did of the level took a completely different route, it looks like. *is confused*
-RPD: As long as you get to the end.-
Heh, yeah. And kill lots of those stupid ladybugs doing it.
-D: You did seem in a fairly vicious mood after work. I take it someone showed up late again.-
Oh yeah. But that's not the worst part. She came in at ten minutes past three -- but apparently arrived at FIVE minutes past three! Dad and Mom saw her in the car. I was pretty darn pissed upon learning that, let me tell you.
-M: Yeesh!-
-VD: What? Why on earth hasn't she been fired for this behavior?-
I have no idea. I don't think my boss can GET anyone else. She only works there two days a week that I know of -- you think she'd learn to get there on time! *sigh* At least my check was good.
-DW: I remember when you used to like that job.-
Yeah, well, I don't get three day weekends anymore. The only thing that's any good at all about it is the fact I can write at work. And my coworkers are friendly enough too, but I'm still kinda the odd girl out. Only nonsmoker, you see, and only one of the original team that worked there at the beginning. (Three years this May! Yipes.)
-VD: Well, if you do decide to persue other opportunities, which might be better for your sanity, at least you have a good amount of money saved up.-
Yeah, I know. Really gotta start looking seriously for another job.
-OD: You can take care of that in the morning. We think you should think about bed soon.-
-HD: I'm sure she's thinking about the bed right now. Going to it, that's another matter entirely.-
Heh, you've got that right. I have TV Tropes to read right now. And maybe a little more chocolate to eat.
-D: You're a chocoholic.-
Better than some of the alternatives.
