A Lazy Kind of Day
Mar. 15th, 2008 10:30 pmAhhh, Saturdays. The sanity-restorer. Feeling much better today.
-D: Glad to hear it. We don't like it when you get depressed.-
Neither do I, sweetie, neither do I. Spent the day bumming around the web and playing video games. Managed to get through the Water Logged level in Alice, though it wasn't easy. The snarks were a PAIN IN THE ASS. And the camera didn't make it any easier -- I kept getting into awkward positions above the water and such and thus couldn't see anything. Died quite a bit.
-HD: I'm surprised you didn't use the blunderbuss on them.-
Can't use it in water. Though I did find some dry land and set about killing them via the jacks and the jackbomb. Very satisfying. I'm now up to Labyrinth's Revenge. Getting very close to the end now!
-VD: And then what?-
I dunno. Up the difficulty? Try for a speedrun? We'll see.
I also played Sims, and made a proper
revison_doc update. Kat and Mark are officially hitched now! Though I had to do the wedding twice. The first time, I forgot to add proper lighting until AFTER the ceremony (this was my first night wedding because of Mark's vampirism) and all the guests left after they had a toast to the happy couple! I couldn't have that, so I saved and reloaded. The wedding that made the cut had proper lighting, and I left out the toasting set to prevent bladder issues -- but two of the guests didn't bother showing for the ceremony. Hmph.
-RPD: That seems to happen a lot in Sims. You think a wedding would get higher priority than a chess game.-
They're stupid, what can I say. Anyway, next up is installing FreeTime and giving that a whirl. Just gotta make my backups so there's no surprises. *hopes none of her subhoods disappear again*
-TD: Yes, it's never fun to learn your best friend has been erased from existence. *hugs Victorian-Dressed Marty*-
-VDM: *hugs back* Hey, it's no fun being erased from existence either.-
-RPD: We'll all keep our fingers crossed.-
Indeed.
-OD: Now that your gameplaying is out of the way, how about some fic? It is technically a BTTF date.-
Ah yes, the Ides of March. George McFly either recieves some sort of book award or gets himself murdered, depending on the reality. Rather morbid, if you think about it.
-VD2: I know. I'd much rather celebrate the event that DIDN'T happen in my home reality.-
-VM: Hey, Moose, the Georges want to meet up with us at the Inkwell after we're done here?-
I don't see why they wouldn't. . . Anyway, nothing written at the moment, but I suppose I can post that drabbles88 I have:
( Drabbles88 -- Prompt 67 )
So, does that absolve me a bit?
-DW: Some, yes. But you should write something new.-
Not to worry, gentlemen. I have another idea for a drabbles88.
-VD2: Excellent! Let's get going on it.-
-RPD: Or you could finish "Comfortably Numb."-
I'll work on both. See y'all later.
