The Waiting Game
May. 6th, 2008 10:41 pmNo word on Beyond the Rift. Well, actually, there was word, but it was about me being a little stupid -- I was so focused on the Doc part of the application, I forgot about myself.
-RPD: *amused smile* I've been there.-
Heh. Fixed now, though, so it's back to waiting. I hope I get word soon -- things appear to be getting messy. The basement's under quarantine, for one. I'm planning on having Doc come out in Grant Park myself, which should be interesting.
-M: *concerned* Isn't there this huge plague starting up now?-
Yeah, but they're not going to kill any Wanderers with that. It's all the poor normal NPCs who will die.
-VuM: Sucks to be them.-
I know. :( Hopefully things will work out. And hopefully I'll have a hand in working them out. At the very least, I hope the mods are getting a kick out of the BTTF Online RPG.
-RPD: Yes, an RPG that ends with a suicide is hilarious.-
It was! And I keep telling you, I expected someone to stop me!
Anyway, not much else to report. Been wandering the web, watching Frasier and listening to Jonathan Coulton. Funny guy. His song about the presidents is great. :D
-VD2: How's the writing coming?-
Eh, today was busy at work -- I hedged my bets and just brought in "Forward to the Past." Got two pages done. Also got a good chunk more done on "From the Ashes Reborn," and a few edits on "V.D."
-VD: *nodnod* Glad to hear it.-
-OD: What about "There's Always Tomorrow?"-
*points to the title*
-OD: Very funny. It's just that fanart is few and far between.-
-D: Well, the Minimates supposedly come out tomorrow -- that should get her using her camera again.-
:D Yup! Yay photocomics!
-OD: *tentacles chitter* Glad to hear it.-
-TD: Doesn't the new Girl Genius collection come out later this month too?-
Yeah. I'll probably buy that and Narbonic. And yes, once "V.D." has been whipped into shape, I'll see about finishing your story.
-TD: It's about darn time.-
Heh, I know. But really, that thing was EPIC. LOOOONG chapters.
-HD: You do seem to enjoy prattling on.-
I do not prattle! I babble. There's a difference.
-HD: *playfully* If you say so.-
-DW: *notes my scrapbook supplies* Whatever happened to that?-
My talent for distraction, and my nervousness about the printer. *eyes it carefully* I suppose I could start giving it a whirl this weekend.
-OD: *Tommy* Please? It would be a SORT of fanart.-
Heh. Though that reminds me -- there's a certain picture or two I should add to my desktop image. . . .
