crossover_chick: gif with Doc and Marty trying to get out of being written into twisted AUs (Default)
I missed Zemeckis's (sorry! It was May 14th), but I can say happy birthday to Bob Gale today! :D
-M: Thanks for helping create us, dude!-
It's also the date of release for Back To The Future Part III, which means that today is also the birthday of my version of Jules Brown! Happy birthday kid!
-D: Well, TRILOGY'S Jules Brown.-
Heh, yeah, but it's easier just to do his instead of trying to remember ALL of your kids.
-HD: *rigs up the tea table for travel* Come on, everyone, off to Wonderland! I have a Tweedle I need to give a cake!-
Woohoo, road trip! *hops on*

Trip to Wonderland was nice. We celebrated Jules's birthday in STYLE.
-M: Yeah, but was the backwards cake really necessary? I felt like an idiot when I tried to cut it.-
-MHG: Sorry, it's a required practical joke to play on new people.-
-TD: Where on earth did you get that many fireworks?-
-HD: *smug* Trade secret.-
-J: Queen Biffica is much scarier in person.-
-WRM: *gloomy* Imagine having to work for her.-
Poor thing. *patpats*
Anyway, didn't get up to much today, besides pulling the screens down in my windows. Watched some BTTF stuff on YouTube for the date -- a clip from the end of Part III somebody made into a Part IV trailer and a couple of music videos. I also got my official Trans Poly U. Squeezy Wrench! :D It must have been delivered yesterday and we missed it. It's very light and squishy.
-VD: *squeezes it a few times* It does feel good for working off stress.-
Yeah, I'll probably be needing it. I'll see about getting a picture or two tomorrow.
-VD2: Any news on the story front? No, wait, let me guess -- a chunk on "From the Ashes Reborn."-
If it makes you feel better, I think said chunk has a weak ending.
-DW: *shakes head* You really do adore that story, don't you?-
-D: *sarcastically* I think the reason boils down to the phrase, "power is the ultimate aphrodisac."-
Hey! It's not about sex! I admit that I love this story because it gives you the potential for pure awesome, but it's not about getting laid!
-DW: What about all the Changeling thoughts with him controling metal and pinning certain Fae to walls? Or Rift and his weather control?-
So I like awesome. What's wrong with that?
-OD: Nothing except the fact we have to live with the idea you may be using it for -- other purposes. *tentacles make gagging noises*-
Fine. I'm going to go read about Silent Hill 2.
-MF: Noooo!-
American McGee's Marty?
-M: Doesn't that technically fall under the awesomeness clause?-
Oooh, yeah, you might be right.
-HD: Awesome? In that game?-
Come on, tell me the croquet mallet isn't great.
-HD: It has its uses, I'm not saying it doesn't.-
-RPD: Speaking of games, how are things in the Rift?-
Pretty good. [livejournal.com profile] clockwork_doc's made some actual posts in his journal and discovered his memory's back. I also threw him into the common room to work on the flux capacitor to see if he'll meet anybody.
-RPD: *nodnod, grin* I heartily approve.-
Heh, thanks. I'm still a little shy about starting up threads, but I'm hoping that'll go away soon.
Oh, and I played Sims.
-RPD: O.O Really?-
Yup. Rolling back my hacks in my downloads folder fixed the jumpiness issue, so I had a nice quiet day with Melody and Clayton Smith and their son Robert. Not much happened -- Melody friended a girl named Meadow, Clayton spent his day skilling and watching the baby. They also got a toy bench because his aspiration was getting low and I felt bad.

They're a pretty sweet little family, truth be told. Melody's friend and career oriented, while Clayton's all about the kidling.

-D: So can we expect updates to [livejournal.com profile] revison_doc and [livejournal.com profile] eurekasims soon?-
Yeah, there's a good chance I'll start on those again. I still feel kinda gypped though, about FreeTime.
-TD: We're here to help if you ever want to give the installation another go.-
Tanku.
All righty, off to perhaps browse TV Tropes.
