I Really Need That Squeezy Wrench
Jun. 3rd, 2008 10:26 pmOne of these days I'm going to actually smack one of the morons who comes in five minutes before closing with a pile of crap.
-D: Bad day at work?-
Last hour or so. The rest of it was okay, if very hot. *bleh* I managed a page and a half on both "There's Always Tomorrow" and "Forward to the Past" though. So I'm at 2 1/2 for "Forward" and 1 1/2 for "Tomorrow."
-VD2: Not bad, not bad.-
-OD: Dare I ask what's happening in said stories?-
We're in wrap-up for "Forward" -- digging the cars out and getting them unhooked. In "Tomorrow," we're wrapping up the variation I made on the whole drinking incident in Part III. It just felt wrong to completely cut that.
-OD: *Jules* Is it really necessary to do all that to Father?-
He gets revenge, don't worry. And it all works out in the end.
-VD: How about actual typing?-
The revison to "From the Ashes Reborn" just wasn't getting off the ground, so I'm going with the original version. I can sort it out in post-production. Bit of a slow day there, sad to say.
-DW: As long as you got something done. The plot bunnies have been a little scarce at the moment.-
Sorry. I need a creative jolt or two.
-TD: *grin*-
. . . CREATIVE, not ELECTRICAL.
-TD: I don't see why the two can't go hand in hand, all thought is electrical impulses.-
Someone distract the Madboy please!
-TTV: Perhaps you'd feel better if you watched that movie you're currently obsessing over.-
"The Dream Team?" I like it, granted, and I haven't watched it in a while, but I dunno if it's good for stimulating the creative juices. It's about mental patients. When you go there with BTTF, that's automatic angst land.
-VD2: *nodnod* I've had my fill of Southdale.-
-TTV: Well, I can't deny I'm curious about it.-
Maybe this weekend. *amused* I'm surprised you're not bugging me about "The Mask."
-TTV: I'm trying to be less of a fanboy.-
Victor, that never works.
-TTV: You don't know that!-
-RPD: How is the Rifting going?-
Was threading for a while with Gladys, who found Doc in his room, storm raging. His room's now completely wrecked, poor guy. There's also the beginnings of a thread with an Alanna, but we'll see if that goes anywhere.
-D: *shakehead* You can be downright cruel at times.-
I'm apping Marty tomorrow, I promise! Just gotta create the LJ first.
-RPD: Good luck with that. God knows our Rift!Self could use one to keep his moods steady. Even if it does turn out to be like my situation -- communication only.-
*nodnod* Yeah. Poor Rift!Dockie. He needs much hugging.
I is tired -- I woke up early this morning and couldn't quite get back to sleep. Ugh. At least I'm not coughing every minute of the day now.
-HD: *sarcasm* But it lent such a melodious backdrop to our days.-
You want me to search out Silent Hill videos rather than watching "Fun With Shorts?"
-HD: You wouldn't have the guts! *pause* Well, you do have the guts, but you wouldn't know how to appropriately utilize them.-
. . . . I hate to say it, but I think he's got me there. Damn it, why must I be attracted to horror games that I know would scare the shit out of me?
-MF: No "Silent Hill Valley" thoughts!-
Maybe I'll look for Alice videos. Been a while since I did.
