Happy Multiple Birthdays!

-J: Mmm. The nice thing about sharing a birthday with someone in your family -- cake is readily available.-

Heh, I know. Very useful. It's been a pretty quiet day, mostly hanging around the house. Though we went up to the local mini-mall to get some stuff. I picked up a new book, which is nice.
-D: I thought you were reading Discworld?-
*embarrassed* I think I'm too used to reading it at work. I really gotta break that habit, work's too busy these days. I do really enjoy the series, really.
-M: You mean you enjoy Rincewind.-
Primarily, yeah. Rincewind, you're awesome. :D
Aanyway, gifty things! Jennifers, I know you guys like to skateboard like Marty, so I got you hoverboards.
-J2: Oooh, nice! *unwraps* Mattel brand, eh?-
Hey, gotta keep to tradition. ;)
-VJ: Anyone else find it amusing we get BLUE hoverboards while MARTY gets PINK?-
-VM: *blush* I LIKE the stupid pink board. . . .-
*giggles madly*
-VDM: Anyway, we got inspired by what Vic gave her dad, so we made you up some mix tapes. Well, mix record in my case.-

-J: *puzzled* How did you make a mix rec -- what am I saying, you're TeenDoc's Marty.-
-TD: Narbonic helped too, actually.-

-JenniferCat: Surprised nothing came up in Sims.
-RPM: She probably thinks it's too soon to play that house again.-
That and I've been stalking the Rift a bit today, watching the new threads. Oh, and we have a new mun --
WHO'S PLAYING NIKOLA FREAKING TESLA.
-RPD: O.O!! Seriously?!-
Yup! It's not the historical version, but one from a comic book, which might be even better because it makes him even MORE mad-sciency. And the ORIGINAL -- well, he's well-talked about in "Girl Genius" circles, let's say that. :D
-TD: *really excited* That is so cool!-
-D: We do get to meet him, right?-
I'm certainly hoping. Though it appears he's ending up at the Main Gauche, which could make things problematic.
-HD: Bah, why must things be problematic?-
There wouldn't be an RPG otherwise. Rift!Doc's also all worried about Aubrey because of xes last journal post, so that's a distraction.
-RPD: Uh-oh.-
Yeah. Poor Rift!Doc, he really likes that kid. *pause* Why do I keep calling xem 'kid,' xe's 24.
-DW: Incidentally, do you really want to follow in the Doctor's footsteps and set up a house for them all? And please, stick with "The Clubhouse" as the name. "Secondary Casa Del Friendship!OT3" does not work for us.-
-VD2: Besides, there's more than three of them.-
I know, I know! And I can't help it, it think it's cute! Besides, Rift!Doc is the type who'd want to keep his friends close if possible. Especially considering the whole Marty situation.
-AJ: Who is in this "fanclub," anyway?-
Basically anyone who considers Doc a good friend, which includes Revan, Aubrey, Gladys, Farley -- and on the fanboyish side is the recently-met JD. Yeah, Doc seems to be glomming onto him a bit. Even with the canon-puncture.
-OD: *a little uneasy* I wonder how he'll react when he sees the trilogy.-
I see a journal entry simply titled "NOT FAIR."
Aaanway, I really ought to do something about fanfiction. And maybe take a nap.

Would you believe prime time for Rifting seems to be TWO IN THE MORNING? Seriously, even I'm usually in bed by then.
