Another Song
Sep. 12th, 2008 11:13 pm-HD: Aren't we in a musical mood?-
Hey, I like music. Anyway, found another song for Clockwork -- "Learn to Crawl," by Black Lab. Mostly for the line "can you teach me how to fly." I'm sure you can tell now what event I associate it with. :p
-RPD: *deadpan* Not obvious at all.-
-DW: You really need to join a prompt community or something. These plotbunnies need homes.-
-MF: And we're running out of ways to cook them.-
I've been considering
justprompts -- very laid-back, which is nice. Though
daemonmuses has inspired some thoughts too. Hmmm.
Not much RP action today. Did a little futzing with Clockwork's tags and made a post finalizing his movie trip. Of course, now Hurricane Ike's gonna hit Texas, meaning Kat's on hiatus again. I swear to God, the universe just does NOT want Clockwork and Revan anywhere near each other anymore. This annoys me.
-D: Not going to blame it on Clockwork?-
I can't, he geniunely wants to talk to her! Both about Torchwood and the stuff about her past he's heard in the Nexus. Incidentally, he's met alt versions of Carth and Revan herself there, which is interestingly weird.
Well, anyway, nothing any of us can do about it. Just be careful, Kat. Hope you come through this with a minimum of damage. Ike looks scary. :(
-TD: How about other fanfic?-
I'm almost to the end of "Corpse Mask." Though the ending scene's a bit difficult, so I'm putting it off.
-TTV: Heh, I'm all right with that.-
And I'm looking at your story now and wondering how I can tweak it. *pokes it with a stick*
-TD: Looking is good. Doing is better, but looking is good.-
Heh, thanks.
-VD: You really haven't done much with your fanfic lately, have you?-
Feeling annoyingly uninspired. Part of that is the Rift eating my brain, granted, but I dunno what's up with the rest of it. I think Arcanum's to blame too, honestly. I keep planning and replanning it. And cursing the fact that I can't install FreeTime, with its nice wooden baby furniture. *glares* And I want Apartment Life!
-VD2: Nothing's really stopping you from getting a new computer.-
Besides the complexity involved. Hate system specs. *sighs* I dunno. I'm a procrastinator, is the problem.
-OD: Well, nothing happpens if you don't do it. A tautology, yes, but most advice seems to be. *tentacles buzz*-
Heh, I know. Maybe I'll poke around a little. First, though, fic stuff. Gotta get something written today.
