We Will Be Off Soon
Jan. 8th, 2009 11:32 pm. . . I'm hearing my subject line in Torgo's voice. That's mildly disturbing.
-D: I think you've rather overdosed on MST3K lately.-
I like MST3K!
Anyway, yes, as my subject line implies, we're going to be moving at last! My parents finally found a house in Florida we can use. :D We're gonna be going the week of the 18th, so you shouldn't expect to see much of me near the end of the month. I don't think I'll be gone too long, though. Since my parents sell books online, internet access is a priority.
-RPD: Lucky for you, Clockwork, and RiftVictor.-
Indeed. Still, a little break won't hurt them any. They're quiet characters.
-VD: Yes, but what will Chicago do while you're offline?-
Probably explode. That's what it does best.
-VD2: How are you going to handle ficwriting?-
Main goal before the move? Finish "Cinder-Marty." I'm in the last chapter, so that should be easy. I also sorta want to post my Victor short "Not So Innocent."
-VD2: *nods* Sounds like a plan. Though what about "Bonds of Holy Matrimony?"-
That's notebook only so far, I can handle that easy.
-OD: How about your job?-
Leaving at the end of next week. Considering he's cut me down to three days a week, I don't think it'll be much of a loss.
-OD: *tentacles make rude noises* Phooey on him.-
Hehe.
In other news, I've finally finished "Sourcery!" Great book, as usual. *loves Rincewind* Though now I'm all worried, given how it ended. . . .
-TD: *patpat* He'll be back. You know he will.-
I know, but it's hard, knowing I'm going to have to wait through "Wyrd Sisters" and "Pyramids" at the least before seeing him again. Though I am looking forwarding to seeing Weatherwax again. I liked her in "Equal Rites," and I'm sure she gets better further on in the series.
-DW: Official Discworld fangirl?-
Pretty much. :D Oh, and big news for Terry Pratchett -- he's a knight now! Or getting knighted. Sir Terrence of Pratchett. :D He's awesome and totally deserves it.

And finally -- perhaps this was a bit of a stupid thing to do before moving, but I couldn't resist any more.

Anyway, other than that she's pretty much set for icons. Just needs something lovey-dovey for Victorstuffs. Since I'm not likely to find that in the game, I may have to make an icon out of a certain piece of fanart. :)
