Life Goes On

Tell it to Clockwork, not to me! He's the one who can't come up with two more lousy things!
-VD: Can't you post it with just -- no, I'm talking to you. Of course you wouldn't.-
I am anal, I admit. At the most annoying times.
-VD2: Anything else happening? Any fanfic written?-
I did write another for the Drabbles88, I'm just trying to figure out the right prompt for it.
-VD2: Oh, that's good.-
-TD: You've got another for the Victor/Alice thing, don't you?-
Yeah, though I'm still tweaking that one a bit. And on the actual journal side, I'm still working on "Bonds of Holy Matrimony."
-TTV: *puzzled* Wait a moment. I thought you finished that last week.-
I did -- but then I had a thought. The way I wrote it, the story was near-completely Victor-centric. You know, whole "favorite character" thing. But I did have a brief section with Victoria right at the beginning, and after writing the rest of the story focusing on Victor's troubles, it felt kind of unbalanced. So I'm writing a couple of quick Victoria-centric sections for later insertion if I see fit.
-TTV: Oooh. Fair's fair, I suppose.-
Precisely. The Victor/Alice side of my brain rebels against this canon stuff, though. I've been scribbling down quick scenes of a crossover to appease it.
-DW: Ah, yes, "The Solicitor's Ward." You know, if you wanted to appease us, you could finish its entry in Overly Plotted Bunnies.-
I should, shouldn't I? Do something productive.
-OD: Also, we want Valentine's Day art. *tentacles nod*-
Doooo you now. . . .
-OD: . . . Maybe we don't.-
*evilgrin* You may luck out, the evil idea I have might not translate well with my lack of artistic talent. Though I could give it a go, for SCIENCE!
-HD: Unless you're drawing a blueprint, art cannot be for SCIENCE!-
-TTV: My entomological drawings don't count?-
-HD: . . . Have some tea, you make me feel like I just kicked a puppy.-

*giggle* Anyway, not much else to report, except that Clockwork's getting playtime and Victor's intro thread of doom to the Nexus has finally calmed down. Over 200 comments. Wow.
