A Few Events Of Note
Jul. 1st, 2009 10:19 pm-->I am in the middle of thunderstorm central, it appears. Earlier it was POURING out, with all sorts of lightning and thunder. It's INSANE. What the hell happened to the sun and summer?
-->Speaking of which, ever since I had Victor ask his question about how much clothing you need to feel comfortable and have to deal with taking off his jacket, the temperature has gone DOWN in Chicago (the Rift user info has a widget stating the weather). I'm starting to wonder if Clockwork's behind this. <.< >.>
-->Got wounded by someone trying to assassinate me in Spymaster. They only got away with 322 pounds, though, so the joke's kind of on them. Now if only I could SUCCEED at the "capture double agent" task. . . .
-->The latest issue of the local magazine featured a family that has their own homemade minicastle! It's awesome. And it actually makes me want to pull out Sims again for building purposes. Is it bad that I really just want to design homes with that game at the moment?
-->Speaking of which, unsure about Sims 3. Parts of it look good, parts of it look bad, the Sims themselves seem to hit my uncanny valley dead on. I LIKE the more cartoony aspects of the Sims. It's something about the eyes. . . .
