Happy Birthday BTTF!
Jul. 3rd, 2009 11:04 pmOkay, I'm a bad Vicky and an hour late for a 10:04 post. I WAS on BTTF.com at the time, making a post there, so. . . .
-D: *laughs* You're forgiven.-
:p
Today's been so-so. Work was shitty, but the afternoon's been pretty good. I watched BTTF, of course, with the animated ancedotes on. My favorite one of those has to be when they mention that Christopher Lloyd and Lea Thompson have been in five movies together (the BTTF trilogy plus two others), yet the only scene where they shared screen time and dialogue was in Part I, where they both said "Hi" to each other. ONE FRICKING WORD. XD
-VD2: You find the strangest things funny.-
I could say the same of you lot. I also scoured
1sentence and its affiliate
3sentence for prompt lists. I figure that I can at least do them for fun, even if I don't ever properly join the communities.
-M: Hang on, why the other community?-
1sentence is for couples only,
3sentence is the threesome+ group. I had to look at them for the Corpse Bride OT3 prompts.
-DW: Feeling inspired?-
Actually, yeah. I've made some nice progress with the Doc/Clara list I chose. Still looking for appropriate lists for Marty/Jennifer and Victor/Alice, though. I'm trying to do a different one for each grouping.
-J: I'm sure you'll find one that suits us.-
Clockwork's also finally reentered the Nexus again, since somebody there has a problem that's a lot like his own -- stuck outside their homeworld, apparently. Museical's slated for a question tomorrow as well.
-RPD: You still need to get Alice out and about again.-
I know -- hopefully a question she'd like to answer will pop up soon. I'm not sure what to have her ask.
-HD: You could just let her "finish the game," so to speak.-
Yeah, I know, but I'm hoping for a bit more interaction before that. Hmmm.
In other news, TeenDoc and his submuses have adjourned to the Girl Genius world to celebrate Holly's birthday today. I've sent along my best wishes and a hat for her (she has to have one, since I'm shipping her with Maxim and all). I'm pretty sure she and Emily have left the headspace -- not that I blame them, they barely talked even while I was heavily into "Boy Genius."
-OD: You've still got editing to do on that.-
I have editing to do on everything. You know that very well.
-OD: *tentacles grumble* Mostly because we're waiting on fic for it.-
-VD: Try being the one waiting for the edits.-
I've worked on it, I swear!
-DW: The main problem is, her brain seems to be stuck on another fandom at the moment.-
-TTV: *instantly looks embarrassed* I'm so sorry --
-MF: We're not blaming you!-
-.- Yeah, you've got a point. I still love BTTF, but for some reason "Corpse Bride's" taking up more of my mental energy these days.
-MF: Well, there's always those crossover ideas you've got.-
Heh, true. I never did post "Train Troubles," did I? I should do that tomorrow. Remind me, will ya?
-TD: *calling from front* We're back! And we've got spare cake!-
Aaand that's our cue to go gorge ourselves. BBL!
