Not Much To Say
Aug. 22nd, 2009 11:44 pmThough I did watch "To Be Or Not To Be" today. Funny and very interesting movie. I mean, it's a bit more serious and somber than a lot of Mel Brooks's work, but a) it's about Nazis and the beginning of World War II and b) it's actually a remake of an older film. Which was also a comedy, but I doubt it was funny like Mel Brooks. My favorite moment has to be Bronski entering the English Pub in full Hitler dress, going "Excuse me! Is this England?" XD
Also, one of Chris Lloyd's first movie roles. In fact, if I remember correctly, his VERY first movie role. Imagine having that as your first film credit -- a Gestapo Nazi. Of course, he's quite funny in the role -- I love his eye-pop when Bronski pulls the fake beard trick. Total Doc moment.
Anyway, more tags to answer as Marty, and I'm planning something for his journal too, so off I go.
