Not Quite A Successful Trip
Oct. 4th, 2009 10:29 pmIn that I didn't get to browse my favorite stores. Turns out that on Sundays, everything opens late. -.- I did manage to get in a little time at Dave & Busters, so that's something. Also scored a chocolate soft-serve frozen yogurt cone after the movie -- yummy.
As for 9 itself -- I liked it, but I think it could have benefited from being a bit longer. The early scenes felt a bit rushed. The characters were good, though, and the animation was lovely. I should mention, though, that there's a pretty good amount of creepy scenes in this -- it's not exactly a horror movie, but it definitely deserves that PG-13 rating!
Anyway, okay day overall -- I've gotten a start on the drabbles88 that has Victor in with Doc and Marty, though it's probably going to get extensively rewritten -- I'm really tired at the moment, so I'm not at my best. Museical also visited the Nexus, to talk about jack-o-lanterns. I still need to figure out everyone's costumes for the Inkwell this year. The only ones I'm sure on are DGVictor and Lucy. Must think on this. After some sleep.
