Muse Journal Progress!
Feb. 7th, 2010 10:58 pmI've finished the little muse bios I intend to put in their journal, more or less -- I'll start on those tomorrow. It's kind of funny to see how they expand from Doc's rather unassuming origin (first Doc I ever wrote, present when I first made the LJ), to the stories of HatterDoc and Tie-Twister Victor. I also made an introductory post with a few comments about the muse house.
-TD: Whatever did happen to that in the Sims 2?-
As far as I know, it's still laying abandoned in Twin Oaks Park. Maybe one day I'll go back and take another look at it. (Sheesh, it would still have MiniDamos's room. Weird.)
We also have a full icon set, thanks to the lovely
anonymoose_au giving me a hand with animating the Doc's Girls icon. Now I can get around to doing hopefully what you all will find a rather amusing Inkwell post. Basically, it's showing what these guys have been doing while I've been slacking off. Which is, reading my copy of Pride and Prejudice and Zombies out loud. Doing all the voices and everything.
-VD2: Well, we have to do something. And you're right, it's a very funny book.-
:p I've also cleaned up the Muse Bios page a bit -- basically, I transferred all the muses/submuses who don't show up anymore to their own little "defunct" section. Much more accurate. Also made a surprising discovery upon looking at it -- Tie-Twister, you've been here for three years now.
-TTV: Goodness, really? It didn't seem like that long.-
-HD: Time flies when you're having fun?-
-TTV: *grin* It must.-
So yeah, productive day on that front.
In other news, still reading that screencap playthrough of American McGee's Alice. I'm finding out all sorts of weird little secrets from it. Like there's a cave behind the waterfall in the beginning of the Pool of Tears level! I've been thinking of doing a playthrough of my own this March in honor of the Tim Burton moving coming out -- I'm thinking I might put it on Easy and then just spend some time exploring and looking at all the shit I missed.
-RPD: Hopefully it'll inspire you into using Alice too.-
I know, I know.
And guess what I found on eBay? TWO auctions for Land of the Living - Everglot minifigure sets! Nothing so far for the Land of the Dead set, though, which annoys me. I do want the Everglot set, but damn it, my minifigs need an Emily.
-DW: It's disturbing, sometimes, how dedicated you are to the whole "threesome" concept.-
Tell me about it. I can't go read the old Victor/Emily or Victor/Victoria discussion forums on FF.net because BOTH groups manage to annoy me. Not to mention that one thing on the ending. . . . *shakehead, goes to play in her little Victor/Alice corner*
-VD: I'm wondering now if that's the reason she's only wanted the Victor doll and the Victor Jun Planning figure.-
-TTV: For the doll, perhaps, but the Jun Planning figure is just her rampant fangirling of me shining through. There's two Jun Planning Victorias.-
Actually, for those it's more that DAMN they're expensive. Combined with the rampant fangirling, yes.
-TTV: So I thought.-
