Case in point, this is how I learned that there's apparently a movie based on MONOPOLY in the works. Or, at least, it was at one point. Freaking MONOPOLY. How do you make a movie around that?! Clue, at least, had a basic story you could build a (hilarious) movie around! But MONOPOLY?
-D: Didn't you once tell us people wrote Minesweeper and Solitaire fanfiction?-
. . . The world is insane. That's all I can say.
Case in point, I started wondering about Corpse Bride and American McGee's Alice-themed version of Monopoly. I mean, one of my fandoms is already represented on the fanmade side: BTTF Monopoly Why not CB and AMA?
-TTV: *curious despite himself* Did you come up with anything?-
Mostly trying to figure out the properties. AMA has a nice little map I can consult, but it's tougher with CB. And I'm really not sure what to do with Utilities and Railroads. *looks at BTTF Monopoly* Hmm, he substituted the Courthouse for the railroads. Something to consider.
Not much else to say -- typed up more "Love Will Find A Way," watched Disney's first Alice In Wonderland, fussed around online. Though Alice did manage to find a new Hatter in her current Nexus thread -- always interesting. :) I gotta get DGVictor out soon, get the Tim Burton side represented.
