crossover_chick: gif with Doc and Marty trying to get out of being written into twisted AUs (feeling sparky/creative)
Thus I am no help to anyone tonight.
-D: I think we can forgive you tonight.-
-TTV: Everyone's allowed an off night.-
LOL. So, yeah, you guys can probably guess I enjoyed "How To Train Your Dragon." It's a nice movie, really -- on the shorter side, but quite good. It's fun, that's what it is. And I'm so glad I got to see it in the IMAX, the flying sequences were great.
-TTV: Oh, they were fantastic.-
I'm a little surprised you and DGVictor are so enthusiastic, given you guys got a taste of the real thing not long ago.
-TTV: That doesn't mean we can't enjoy a good special effect!-
You really just like flying, don't you?
-TTV: *nodnod* In any and all forms.-
I really gotta get one of my fanfic Victors off the ground, then. You think steam vent floating would work?
-TTV: Er, if it works without requiring me to don a skirt.-
*snork* I was thinking more of puffing up your jacket or having you use a parachute-type thingy.
-TTV: Perfect!-
-HD: There's also the Gryphon, I'm sure he wouldn't be averse to giving the occasional ride.-
Damn, this is making me want to write that fic where Victor gets pulled to Wonderland during the game's storyline. I know he'd LOVE flying on Gryphon.
Speaking of Alice-related things, I made some purchases while I was out. I have a new Mad Hatter pin, and:

Two new friends for Alice! I'd gone to the mall with the intention of picking up the cute little Hatter, who I found at Newbury. However, while browsing the new Hot Topic location, I found a Cheshire doll. After a little consideration, I decided to go ahead and get him.

Hatter's a bit on the generic side, but he's so adorable that we'll forgive him.

Cheshire seems to be more Burton-based, what with the blue stripes and all. It's a good look on him, really.

They enjoy hanging out with their friend Alice Dolly, and Victor Plush by association. At some point, I'm going to borrow Mom's tea set again and let them have a tea party.

-VD2: You're a little toy-addicted these days, aren't you?-
I can't help it, too much cool/cute stuff is being released. I did manage to make it home without any minimates, that has to count for something.
-VuM: Still can't find the latest Ghostbusters 4-pack?-
Yeah -- I'm pretty sure it's out, but it apparently hasn't hit the Providence Place Newbury yet. I actually almost got a pair of Spirit minimates, simply because the Spirit-guy himself happened to have black ripped pants I could have used for Louis. Had no idea what to do with the girl he came with, though, so I decided not to. I also saw an awesome pair of Tim Burton's Alice In Wonderland Kubricks -- Hatter and Cheshire -- but THEY were 21 bucks, which was rather steep for me. *quietly resolves to see if there's any more TB AiW Kubricks, merely out of curiosity*
-D: They really will make a minimate or kubrick out of anything, won't they?-
*shrug* It's worked for them so far, hasn't it?
All in all, a successful mall trip -- though it nearly didn't happen. The bus I was supposed to catch wouldn't start, and the company wouldn't send out another bus. Dad was nice enough to drive me in exchange for me giving him ten bucks for the gas, but that was frustrating. And then the bus coming back was late by five minutes, which got me worried all over again. (Plus it was windy, which was not fun). Still, got there and back in one piece, which is the important thing.
Now, I'm off to do more fiddling around with dragon-related stuffs.
