Just A Few Things
Aug. 9th, 2010 11:26 pm-->Chapter 6 of "Cinder-Marty is up! Longest chapter so far, and we finally get to meet the rest of our cast of characters. I also try my best to explain one of the things about Cinderella that bugs me -- mainly, where the hell was this fairy grandmother while she was being turned into a slave by her stepfamily?
-->More American McGee's Alice today -- I do enjoy getting rageboxes. XD And I'm learning just how much fun the Jackbomb can be. Though I still wonder about giving Alice -- who lost her parents in a terrible housefire (I think that, at least, has carried over to the sequel/remake) -- a FLAMETHROWER. Wouldn't she be rather reluctant to use it? In fact, I have her pretty much say as much in "The Solicitor's Ward," when she uses one to bomb open an entrance into Red's dungeons.
-->Speaking of American McGee, still working on that wordsearch he posted. Some of it is really tricky -- there's a few obscure clues, and ones I'm not sure about. Does "the jaws that bite and the claws that catch" refer to just the Jabberwock, or the poem he's from, "Jabberwocky?" (There's a "y" after the guy's name in the puzzle, you see.) Doesn't help that apparently the printable version has at least one typo (somebody switched an M and N around -- good thing I went poking around the forum to see if anyone had decoded a couple of the harder clues!).
-->Worked on "The Tale" today -- have turned Nell and William into even bigger jerks in this universe. On plus side, Jennifer is about to shame an angry mob (and possibly scare them into thinking she's the Queen of Hearts's daughter).
