Happy Friday the 13th
Aug. 13th, 2010 11:21 pmNot that it felt like one to me, really. Of course, I sometimes lose track of which day is which now. . .
-RPD: Good thing you've got that schedule of updating "Cinder-Marty."-
LOL, yeah. Speaking of which, here's chapter 8. Sorry it's so much shorter than the previous ones, but that's where the chapter breaks seemed best placed.
Not much else happened today. Watched the special features on my new Wallace & Gromit DVD. Nick Park is starting to look a little old, which saddens me. :( But it was interesting, hearing the director's commentary and seeing how it all came together. And the "Shaun the Sheep" minisode was cute. XD Though I wonder how Shaun ended up on that farm anyway. (And he doesn't look quite right without his sweater.)
Also played some more American McGee's Alice -- I'm up to the first maze! Land of Fire and Brimstone was the usual annoyance, though I actually managed to kill a few of those pesky fire snarks. Fire snarks, mechanical ladybugs, and boojums -- all the most wretched things in the game. Though boojums become a lot easier to handle once you've got the Ice Wand, I admit.
-RPD: *curious* Now why would a ghost be weak to cold?-
-HD: I don't think they're ghosts, not really. Ghosts tend to have better manners.-
I suppose they're technically banshees, though that name still makes me wince. I don't know what they are, exactly. They appear in the Hunting of the Snark, one of Lewis Carroll's nonsense poems, but there they're somehow related to snarks.
-TD: Well, you did just say they both got on your nerves.-
*snork* Point.
