Too Many Updates

Though one I wouldn't have to worry about if I hadn't been sucked into playing the McFlys when I moved them into their house in Inkwell Secundus. I couldn't help it -- everybody was acting cute, and Marty rolled the want to talk, then I wanted to get them Mr. Humble's computer, then I had to have Linda and Dave interact because for some reason Linda didn't like him, then Linda and Marty both kept being drawn to the activity table. . . .
-VD: And before you knew it an entire day had gone by for them?-
Yeah. Luckily Linda's wants for friends and skillpoints has given me a slight advantage -- Marty will get to drink Smartmilk! If, uh, any of his older family members manage to get out of the green. *grumble* Why must Lorraine's wants all revolve around her older children?
Anyway, I have some pictures there, and all of Doc's first semester of freshman year, so I'd better figure out whether or not they're getting a journal fast. At least I managed to get the Van Dorts settled without a lot of fuss -- moved them onto the cheapest lot, WTFed over William deciding the first thing he wanted to do was jump rope (seriously!), motherloded, saved and exited, merged Mayhew with them, put the newly combined family back into the Simbin, then moved them to the mansion I wanted for them. Whew!

Think I'll play the Twin Oaks Park Van Dorts instead, so I don't really backlog myself. Plus I have the Inkwell party post -- however, I decided to prewrite some of that, so it'll just be a bit of cut and paste. Hooray for timesavers!
