Mar. 5th, 2011 11:38 pmMy YouTube searching for the day resulted in my finding out that there's not only another trailer for "Madness Returns" out, but also a gameplay demo! You can see all three vids here on IGN. My reaction is a bit -- mixed. I mean, parts of this do look awesome, and I like the scene at the end of the second gameplay vid. Others. . . I dunno. I shall reserve judgment.
-TD: Great Scott -- between this and the BTTF game, you're keeping busy this year.-
Yeah, I know. "Madness Returns" comes out June 14th, which should be either just after or right around when the last Telltale BTTF episode comes out. Busy beaver on the videogame front indeed.
-RPD: You seem to be getting back into Sims too -- though I didn't recognize the character you were playing this morning. Or the college.-
That was Emmett Victor Liddell in my new Strangetown. I made him as a "just for fun" side project to try and, you know, do something akin to a legacy.
-VD2: Isn't that sort of what you're doing in all your other neighborhoods?-
Actually, no. If you haven't noticed, all of my other Sims are Elixir of Life junkies. And I know why too -- I keep making Sims based off my favorite fictional characters. Of COURSE I don't want to see them die! Emmett Victor Liddell is my attempt at making a Sim whom I'll be able to let go when its time.
-VD2: Aha. Incidentally, Emmett Victor Liddell?-
Well, I didn't see why I couldn't use the names. :p He's got the custom blond hair I found for Doc, Victor's custom skin tone, and green eyes for Alice.
He's also, upon moving to a townhouse from the dorm in his second freshman semester of college at La Fiesta Tech, got a glitch where his class bubble isn't fully expanded despite all the skills he needs having been earned. I'm kinda pissed about that. My first Sim to ever find a treasure chest treasure hunting, and now I don't know if I can play him or what. *grumblemutter*
-M: Can't you look it up? Your Sim journals are part of some communities all about that, right?-
Yeah, true. . .Let me go do that.
