The Danger of Charloft Prompts

Me earlier: So the prompt today is two versions of one story? Oh hey, that'll be easy for Butterfly Boy -- I'll just do him vs Nell! What to do for Lucy, though. . . .

Me recently: Oh Christ, FINALLY found a topic that'll serve as an actual story for that prompt for Butterfly Boy. How the hell did Lucy's end up being the easier one to write?

-MF: Uh, wondering that myself. . . .-
I had planned to do something revolving around Victor's thoughts and Nell's thoughts on Secundus, but either it didn't click or didn't feel like a story. I finally decided to do when Nell told him about the engagement. See it here. Probably not my best work, but I was really struggling with this prompt. Doesn't help that I've been feeling fidgety a good portion of the evening.

Yeah, wouldn't be surprised. Can we just skip ahead to the Friday two weeks from now and have it all over with?
