Last Day of Backiedom
Nov. 16th, 2011 10:04 pmAs today is the day Doc sends Marty back to the Old West, to save his older self from an untimely and painful death. Granted, he happens to send Marty back in the goofiest outfit imaginable. . . .
-VD2: Look, Westerns hadn't yet really come into their own when I was a child.-
-M: Seriously, though, PINK?-
-VD2: They were in black and white too!-
*giggle* We also get to see that yes, once upon a time Doc's gun worked, and get some foreshadowing into what Marty's going to run into once he goes back in time. All in all, probably not the worst note to end the Backie days on.
As for myself, I did in fact play some of BTTF: The Game today! I'm about halfway through Episode 1 -- right after you finally gain Emmett's trust and learn you've got to deliver a subpoena to Artie McFly. Playing it through again, I realized that Marty's dream at the very start foreshadows a lot of the problems they'll face over the season -- Doc getting erased from existence, history going wrong, the glitchy time circuits (Doc even says they're miscalibrated), Doc making a horrible mistake. . . . Cool beans. :)
-D: I'm surprised you're only halfway through. You know how to solve all the puzzles at this point.-
Yeah, but I like poking around with the dialogue options and doing some exploring. :) I should finish up either tomorrow or Friday, though.
Not much else to report -- I should go make an awful "Victor Van Dort Vs The World" LOL to amuse those on tumblr.
-M2: *confused* Why is it awful?-
You'll see when I show you who I'm "casting" as Envy. Also need to write, so later!
