Yeah, played through a day of Victor's Houndsditch -- still no craziness, though I at least got somebody worrying about their aspiration. Also some brief hungriness, but it didn't amount to anything. At least I think I've discovered the reason why -- my Apartment Life Prima Guide says that yes, they DID make the rotten Sims smarter. I suppose this is what happens as technology marches on. If I remember correctly, the Asylum Challenge was written in the early days of the franchise -- back in 2006, which is *looks up info* hmm. Right after Open For Business, it looks like. So Sims had just started branching out into some new interesting areas, before pets and gardening and vacationing and magic. That's a lot to catch up on. Ah well, hopefully crazy things will start happening, and I'll have a reason for the framing story.
