It's That Time of Year
Jun. 7th, 2012 11:37 pmThe time where I desperately try to think up presents for characters that they haven't already gotten. And June 9th is particularly tricky in this aspect, since I have THREE characters that need them. I'm so glad I switched to "only the most important friends give presents" idea, because this would REALLY get out of control if Marty, Victor, and Butterfly Boy needed to get a present from EVERYONE. Not to mention I feel like I should do something for Forgotten Vows as well. . . I may go insane before Saturday. Fair warning.
-M: You know, you could just skip the gift-giving.-
I know, but I like giving them proper birthdays. I'm sure I'll come up with something -- even if it's just something kind of small.
Speaking of Forgotten Vows, he's been in a rotten mood all day thanks to seeing a rather unethical doctor hypnotize someone for the purposes of sex on tumblr. Working on "Finding You" didn't help much, since at the present moment in that story, Alice is telling him that she doesn't think Victor didn't know Victoria or Emily long enough to be truly in love with them. (She currently calls it "a particularly strong case of like" and will probably later be calling it "puppy love" -- if that term existed back then, anyway.) I think I need to take on another prompt table so I can write fluffy stuff for that verse when he gets like this.
-VD2: Well, there's plenty of them on LJ, but why don't you post those final prompts from your other ones first?-
I'll be doing that this Saturday, so I can at least look around, right?
-VD2: Fair enough. Though don't forget, you do technically have other stories to work on. Though we all know where the muse lies.-
-OD: And speaking of that, when will you start putting up "Losing You" anywhere but your LJ?-
Probably after Saturday, so I'll have the satisfaction of having those two out of the way first.
-VD: How long did it take you to finish the Drabbles88 anyhow?-
