The Trend Continues!

What trend? Why, the "I keep my internet DURING the storm, but after the storm is over. . ." Yeah, that's why I've been gone for a couple of days -- net was out. Fortunately we never lost power -- a good thing, too! There's broken trees and tree bits around everywhere. We've still got half of one stuck at the end of our street. And a huge-ass branch that could count as half a tree in our yard. Not to mention NOBODY ever came and plowed our road correctly. It made for some fun driving when we visited a nearby Starbucks earlier to get some free Wi-Fi. (And then Mom and Dad discovered the net was back up at the house. . .I'd swear it WAITED until we got out the door.)

So yeah, it's snowy, icy, tree-y, and rainy right now, but we're all okay! And I'm gradually getting caught up with a bunch of stuff I missed. So yeah.

And no, I didn't have school today -- they canceled everything at CCRI through today. Tuesday's looking like a go, though I'm probably going to have to take the earlier bus. Oh, getting to a bus stop will be an adventure, won't it?

Anyway, that's me checking in -- back to the whole "I missed sooo much" race!
