Sent In An App
Apr. 18th, 2013 10:59 pmThe app for Mallow Hallow is written and submitted to the app page. *anxious* We'll see what happens when the 20th rolls around. . .unless there's a delay in app processing again. . . *shrug* We'll see.
Been kind of a blah day, to be honest. I almost idiotically missed the bus I had to take in to start -- for some reason, my brain refused to register the correct time to leave and I got a distressingly late start. I still made it (knowing that there's a bus stop across from Brickley's bought me some time), but man, that was a scary moment!
Then I got into school early, only to discover my skit partner being rather unhelpful about ways we could expand our skit and such. Fortunately we figured it out, and we should be set for our skit on Monday. It still took more time than I expected, meaning I lugged my laptop in for basically nothing.
Well, no, I shouldn't say that -- I got to use it to do a peer review that I could have done in class on Tuesday or sometime yesterday if my partner THERE hadn't completely spaced on giving me his essay. Which turned out to be a disorganized mess. . .and his comments on my essay were not exactly helpful. We also had a weirdly small class today, which you think would mean getting to leave early or getting extra help with our papers or something. Nope! I'd forgotten just how many tangents my teacher can go on!
Wow, sorry, didn't mean for this to turn into a rant. It's just been a frustrating day, made worse by the fact I'm sure I'm PMSing like crazy. It hasn't been all bad -- I finally got to see The Cat in the Hat review by the Critic (yikes, that looks like a horrible movie -- no wonder Dr. Seuss's widow put the kibosh on further live-action adaptations), and I rewatched the Top 11 Simpsons episodes. And there's Helloween plays Binding of Isaac to enjoy later (maybe I'll watch it over lunch tomorrow?). And of course my hopes of getting into
mallowhallow.
Bottom line, I'm just glad I have tomorrow off.
