Happy Birthday/First Trip Down The Rabbit Hole, Alice!

Yes indeed, the first book is set on May 4th -- hence my headcanon that American McGee's Alice stuffed rabbit was a 7th birthday present (from Lizzie) and helped inspire that daydreamy trip that same afternoon. :D And happily, I've gotten pretty much everything I wanted to get done done! I've acknowledged Alice's birthday all over tumblr, had the Inkwell Party for Save_Us (and changed the Inkwell's theme -- I think you'll like the new look), and posted Chapter 8 of "Forgetting You!" Also acknowledged Alice Dolly's birthday on twitter, got a Cake Batter ice cream shake from Bess Eaton (yuuum), and even hung around the house in my Classic Alice costume for the morning! I changed into my Alice T-shirt and regular pants to go walking, though -- the dress is a nice cosplay, but not really made for exercise.

Anyway, day's not quite over yet, and I probably owe a bunch of replies on tumblr (I've been busy working on finishing up the chapter for today), so I'm off! Happy May 4th! (And May The Fourth Be With You for my Star Wars-loving friends. ;) )
