Wooo, Tired
Jun. 12th, 2013 11:33 pmGot my trip to the mall today, though. :D Day dawned sunny, if a little windy, so I threw on my Alice shirt and headed up to Providence! Didn't buy much of anything -- Newbury's was looking a little thin on stuff I wanted, so I didn't get anything from there. Mainly, I spent money on food (Subway Chicken Teriyaki sandwich, Pinkberry chocolate frozen yogurt cone with chocolate chips and crushed Oreos) and Dave & Busters -- forty dollars on recharging my card. Was worth it, though -- I had a good time wandering around and playing all my favorite games again. Did very well on some harder songs in Guitar Hero (although I'm still on Beginner -- one day, I'll try a mode where you actually press buttons again), slashed up lots of fruit in Fruit Ninja, and played a whole course in Mario Kart. I also tried out a DDR-style game. Sucked at it, of course, but I'm willing to give it another go in the future. It definitely gives you a workout! No new music this trip, though. :( None of the songs I wanted were available for download. Ah well.
Additional note -- they've rearranged the place again, and completely redone the ticket-redeeming area/store. Now it's all fancy and white with video screens and lots of fancy shelving and stuff. I rather like it. Also, if you get enough tickets, you can apparently get a games console. How weird is that?? I've actually got enough for a blender or a mini-donut maker if I should so choose in the future. D&B's is weiiird.
The rest of my day can be summed up as:
A) catching up on tumblr
B) catching up on Dreamwidth
C) watching some Alice LP and doing some edits on one chunk of Chapter 8 of "Forgetting You"
And as I'm rather tired, the last chunk will have to wait until tomorrow. I just don't feel adequate to tackling it tonight, even if I did watch the appropriate video from Rythian. I'll try to have Chapter 8 up by Friday -- Flag Day -- at the latest, though.
All right, back to looking at tumblr. . . it's apparently cosplay night in the Alice fandom. *would go put on her dress if she wasn't tired and feeling lazy. And if her camera's battery wasn't dead. Need to fix that.*
