Sims Goodness

Played The Sims 2 today -- the Restful Springs subneighborhood. Not too much happened, though Victor was able to learn Fire Safety (yay), and one of his roomies was caught spying on Leod McGregor and got into a shoving match with the guy. XD And at Alice's, she got a promotion from a chance card, which led to me being able to send her immediately on another shift and get even more money. This does mean she was gone all day, but still -- each step up that ladder is a step closer toward getting out of the asylum! She's currently a Juggler, which is level *checks* 7! :D Just three more levels before she achieves her LTW! Just gotta get her some Charisma and make her some friends. . .

Also, in Sims 4 news, you know the "Arrival" trailer? Well, the team is doing something cool to it -- adding Easter Eggs! Specifically, they're putting annotations around stuff in the trailer that relates to The Sims franchise. Click an annotation, and you get a special unlisted clip related to the object! Currently there's seven up, I believe -- but according to the secret videos, there's going to eventually be 24. So you'll have to check it regularly. :D I've found all the ones that I believe are currently up there. Hint to fellow seekers -- look very carefully at the very first scene in the trailer. ;)

Not too much else to say about the day, other than it was cold and icky and that I finished my initial rewrite of Chapter 15. Now it's time to give it the usual round of tweaking and rejiggering before I post it. Should go up sometime next week.
