Science Fiction Theater. . .
Nov. 7th, 2013 10:04 pmBack to school for Back To The Future! Let's have a quote:
Doc: *after Marty's attempt to introduce George and Lorraine has gone completely downside-up* This is more serious than I thought! Apparently your mother is amorously infatuated with you instead of your father!
Marty: *slow, rather horrified realization* Whoa, wait a minute Doc, are you saying that my mother -- has got the hots for me?!
Doc: Precisely!
Marty: Whoa, this is heavy.
Doc: *puzzled* There's that word again, 'heavy.' Why are things so heavy in the future? Is there a problem with the Earth's gravitational pull?
I think we can all agree that's one of the best scenes. :)
Today was rainy, miserable, and shockingly productive on "Forgetting You." I now have a full first draft of Chapter 20! I just -- I started writing, and it all just came out of me pretty much just the way I wanted it! It's looking to be a fairly short chapter compared to most of the recent ones -- about 5 and a half pages -- but it should still be good. An interesting development, though -- I've had Victor meet the two oafish orderlies that Alice assigns to Tweedle-Dee and Tweedle-Dum in her Wonderland. Forgotten has opinions about this. Can't really blame him, though, these two made Alice's life hell -- and might have done some truly horrible things to her if you go by some cut dialogue. *shakehead*
Not much else to say really -- it took me forever to catch up on the RP/social media side of things thanks to being so focused on Chapter 20, but I'm reasonably caught up now. Still have a few things to answer on tumblr, though, so I'll go do that now. Later all!
