Leftovers Sunday
Jan. 5th, 2014 11:20 pmIn that that's the majority of what I ate today -- leftover chicken soup and chicken salad for lunch (since there wasn't a lot of the former), leftover chili and a leftover hot dog roll with butter for dinner, and leftover ice cream cake (my last slice) for dessert. Still, can't complain, because even my mom's leftovers taste great.
Today was pretty quiet, all things considered -- although I have a buttload of tags to get to on Butterfly Boy's tumblr, so let me do some quick sum-ups of what happened:
-->Traded friend codes with Gigs for a nice gem payout. Now I have a better hoard for emergencies in DragonVale.
-->Speaking of which: cleared out my second island (it has a ton of big-ass rocks on it), built a Colosseum, erected some more habitats, and upgraded the nursery with ten of my gems. I also hatched a new dragon -- another Lava. Deepfyre and Flitvine, you have failed me. I want that damn Pepper dragon. >.< Well, the newcomer is Vulcan, and he's currently living in the second island's Earth habitat. Nithogg and Dino are having a breed to see if I can get an Obsidian (probably going to end up with another Lava -- in that case I'm just going to sell the damn thing for cash). New goals are to save up for a Lightning habitat and dragon.
-->You have a quick update on the "Boy Genius" front: Chapter 9 I'll try to get the last three up tomorrow.
-->Gave Chapter 24 of "Forgetting You" an editing pass -- ideally I'll have that one up by Friday. Fingers crossed!
-->Did a hour housesitting, got $20 for it. Note to self, use said money to buy a bus pass tomorrow (I'm down to three rides with my current one, and school starts again Tuesday).
-->Did a Secundus Sunday up on Tumblr -- I've got themed days going there, so that'll be fun.
-->And now I'm doing tags, having gotten on late yet again. One day, one day I will figure out how to return to my habit of getting on BEFORE 9 or 10 at night! Maybe the return to normalcy Monday and Tuesday will bring will help. . .
