Dragon Update

So, I hatched my latest egg last night.

I did NOT get an Obsidian dragon.

I got THIS adorable motherfucker instead.

That's right, I scored me one of the limiteds! And seriously, this thing is SOOOO CUTE :D And it ricochets around the habitat like it's on a permanent caffeine high. XD I've named him "Bouncy."

Currently Deepfyre and Spring (Lava and Plant) are breeding -- we'll see what results from that!

Quick Updates

-->I got my Obsidian in DragonVale! I've named him Stane because Obsidian for some reason makes me think of Obediah. *shrug* There's an Iron dragon, so I've got the name "Tony" on reserve. I also recently hatched a Lightning, which I HAD to name Doc. XD Current breeding pair is Spring and Geo (Plant & Earth respectively) while Dino fights in the Colosseum -- Lavawing got a Gold trophy, so hopefully Dino will follow in his footsteps. And Elsa's habitat is being expanded so I can start on Cold dragon hybrids.

-->I'm a good chunk of the way into Dragonsong, and while I can't say Anne McCaffrey is as good as Terry Pratchett, I'm quite enjoying it. I like Menolly, and fire lizards are still the most adorable things alive.

-->Despite a very late start to my tumblring, I was able to do a quick tag catch-up with my Victors, thanks to the tumblr app. Whew!

-->Had a scare today when my laptop wouldn't turn on and I thought my battery had died prematurely. Turns out I'd managed to unseat the battery a bit when I was putting it away. Will have to be more careful not to touch the locks!

-->Fucking cold today. Fortunately it's supposed to gradually warm the rest of the week. Bring on the 40 degree temps please!
