Live From Housesitting
Jan. 23rd, 2014 10:54 pmThe family's on vacation, so I've got an overnight gig here for the next 10 days, right through the end of January. I can't complain, really -- being paid to sit here, use the computer, and sleep? All righty then. I could use the money while I look for a job.
Today has been -- glitchy. Specifically, DragonVale got an update, and it's been running kind of stuttery ever since. I haven't done most of my usual stuff -- just collected money, finished off the Fire event (got a Silver Trophy) and started the Earth one (Vulcan's competing), grew crops, and hatched my Pollen, Mud, and Metal dragons that I got today (Sneezy, Puddle, and Jethro respectively). I also finished clearing off my fourth island and moved my Cold and one of my Water habitats there. I'll be building the boosts later, once everything seems properly kosher. I just don't want something to glitch out and go bad. People are complaining about the text, which is ugly and has a tendency to skip or mess up certain letters -- which makes me believe it CANNOT be a permanent switch. At least, I really really hope not. *sigh* I guess we'll see tomorrow.
Other than that, main takeaway is that it is freaking cold outside and I would like winter to be over with, kthanx. We're in the middle of an Arctic snap, and damn does it show. Brrrr~ Gonna have to bundle up tight under the covers tonight. As it is right now, I'm sharing dragon entries on the DragonVale wiki with a friend, so I bid you adieu.
