Life Updates
Jan. 25th, 2014 10:58 pm-->Got Mom's birthday present and card today, so that's all set, thankfully.
-->Threw Forgotten Vows into a "recovery and relapse" meme that's all about either conquering the bad stuff in your life or succumbing to it. Hoping he gets a pep talk from the person I tagged him to -- Daenerys Targaryen. No, I don't watch "Game of Thrones" or read the books. I just know her as a pretty awesome dragon lady and wanted FVV (& Moonlight) to get to know her.
-->DragonVale has been going well, although I'm contemplating changing my island layout yet AGAIN. I've got the Plant and Earth shrines up, I won another piece of the Time Claw and two gems in races (along with the usual money, food, and experience prizes), I am now the proud owner of a Quake dragon (I've named him Seismic) and a Brass dragon (Zipple, since it has two heads and I'm a HTTYD fan), and I think Elsa and Borogoves are making a Blizzard. Jethro got me a Silver in the Metal event, and Sneezy's competing in the Air. I also built a new Large Cold habitat, and I'm in the process of building a Large Air one. Also spent the morning making a complete list of dragons, what spaces I have left in what habitats, and stuff like that. So yeah, I'm completely obsessed.
-->WINDY AS HELL OUT THERE. Gusts of up to 50 mph most of the day. It was supposed to snow and rain as well, but it didn't start snowing until around 6:30 -- aka when I walked out the door to go to my housesitting gig. Meeeeh. Seems to be better now, though.
-->I actually played Sims today!! Granted, it was just a quick visit to Alice in Restful Springs, but hey, progress. I need to get back into that.
And now I have tumblr stuff to wrap up, so g'night all!
