crossover_chick: Victor leaning over to look at a blue butterfly in a glass jar (CB: i has a happy thing)
The best sort of day! I was going to go out and fetch potato chips for my lunch, but seeing it start to snow (and when it was on, it tended to be fairly big flakes) put an end to those plans pretty quickly. Basically I stayed in and caught up on a bunch of stuff instead. Been watching Linkara's LP of Pokemon Omnicron -- which is actually pretty interesting. I've never really been a Pokemon person, beyond thinking a few of them were cute and that Victor should totally have Bug types, but I'm kind of getting caught up in his little quest. I've only watched two episodes so far, admittedly, but still -- fun stuff.

In DragonVale news, SNOOOOWFLAAAME hatched, and is currently bouncing around a fresh new Cold habitat on the Plant/Water island. I also added a Luminous, Glowy, and an Ember, Crackle, to my park. Embers are SO FREAKING CUTE -- and tiny! Even at level three Crackle's really really small. It's adorable. :D I've got Lumin with Elsa at the moment, and they're making a Glare. I was going to build the Light Boost tonight, but now I'm wondering if I should hold off for a bit -- until I figure out where I'm going to put my Dark dragons and their boost. Lights and Darks are negatively affected by each others' boosts, and I have a limited amount of space to work with right now. . . Maybe I'll hold off until I have a couple more islands and can spread things out a bit.

The most interesting part of my DragonVale day didn't come from the game, though -- it came from being selected to do a customer satisfaction survey. I ranked it high in most respects -- I do have a lot of fun with the game -- but I'm really hoping they implement some of the things they had under the "would you like to see any of this in the game?" section. They were suggesting things like new types of races, dragon fighting, petting dragons and teaching them tricks -- basically more dragon interactivity, which I'd love. Being able to play with my dragons instead of just stuffing them full of food and then collecting their cash would be really nice. Part of the reason I like the Dragon Track so much is because it offers me the chance to DO something with them. I also left a comment in their suggestions section that they should make the Colosseum more interactive. I'd like to actually do things in it, like maybe put a dragon through an obstacle course. Or it could be the arena for dragon fights. It would be great, and add a whole new level to the game.

Right now, though, the games I'm concentrating on are the RP kind. Time to check for tags -- later all!
