NC Reviews Tim's Alice
Mar. 11th, 2014 09:49 pmNot surprisingly, he didn't like it (main's too bland, too many standard Burton cliches, too many attempts to force sense on the world), but he also acknowledged that this doesn't negate Burton's masterpieces. He also set up this great "storyline" for the review, in which he traveled through Burtonland after Carrotjuice, the Black Rabbit.
With "Malice."
Wearing a very familiar variation on the blue dress. And carrying around a knife. And getting gradually more and more blood-splattered.
Throw in a background joke of a burlesque-show Emily (look at the poster behind Tweedle-Carter during that scene) and a quick BTTF reference, and I think this might be my new favorite review. :D :D :D
And now I still have stuff to answer on tumblr, so g'night all! Go watch the review!
