Parents Came Home Early

My dad's bike broke (fortunately, once they got it home, it turned out to be a fairly quick and cheap fix), and that coupled with the fact that it rained horribly this morning means they cut their trip short. Somewhat sad not to have the house all to myself, but I did get to go with them this evening to a favorite restaurant and have an excellent pizza, so that was nice. (Dunn's Corners in Westerly, if any of you ever end up in RI.)

Less nice -- the fact that, after a surprisingly quiet day (in particular, a very quiet morning), I've suddenly been hit with tag and message-splosions. And there's no way in HELL I'm going to get to them all tonight. Fortunately I managed already to drop active tumblr rping tonight in favor of drafts, but I can't do anything with any of the stuff in my inbox. Or, at least, I can't if I want to be able to get some sleep in addition to everything else.

So yeah. Just finished drafting on Forgotten Vows, gonna see how many I can do on Butterfly Boy before I decide I HAVE to go to bed. I'll see what I can do tomorrow morning on the rest of it.

Pluses to the day -- won both of my Rogue games in Hearthstone, and the DragonVale gods have FINALLY taken pity on me and given me a Solstice. At last. Now if I could just manage the Kite and the Pearl. . .
