DragonVale Has Thrown Me a Bone
Jul. 27th, 2014 08:52 pmNamely, I'm getting the new Rainbow dragon -- the Prism! So that's nice. :D I'll be naming it Floyd once it hatches because dear GOD the Pink Floyd references abound in its description and that of its associated (and very cool-looking) decoration. XD Still nothing from the Ruby breeders though, the dicks. Hmph. *pokes them*
In Hearthstone, I'm up to a 2/2 win/loss record in the Arena! Yeah, nothing to write home about, but it's the best I've done so far in there. My Andy beat a Jaina very decisively, but lost to another Anduin who won by a pretty clever use of a Silencing minion. Specifically, I froze the minion they could use to get the kill so I'd survive one turn longer and hopefully get a card that could save me. They proceeded to silence -- not the minion that did the freezing -- but their OWN frozen minion. And it turns out doing that removes the frozen status, meaning -- well, dead me. But I was impressed, I have to say. I also did some regular play with Rexxar, and won very handily against a Malfurion with my new custom deck for him. Felt gooood, especially when I was able to use a Freezing Trap to completely wreck a comboed minion that would have made life very hard for me. :P I do plan to go back to the Arachnid Quarter eventually, but only once I finish out the arena run and see what cards I won. Still trying to figure out the best way to beat that first boss. . .
Not much to report otherwise, beyond it being Butterfly Boy and Delusional Beauty Alice's first wedding anniversary. :D She got him a really sweet little playing-card book of reasons she loves him, he got her a fancy couple butterfly pin engraved with their initials and the date of their wedding. They're seriously so sweet together. . . I gotta get my other Victors married off already. ALL MUST HAVE WEDDED BLISS
Er, anyway, I'm gonna catch up on tumblr, have my dessert and watch Helloween's latest Claire video, then get on tagging. Later!
