Tagsplosion Tonight, Wow
Aug. 24th, 2014 10:48 pmMost of the weekend's been super quiet, but tonight -- bam! I guess people are making up for lost time (and I know for a fact one of my partners just got back from vacation).
As usual, not much to say on my end. Got an important job-related call to make tomorrow, and gotta figure out if anywhere around here is hiring -- Mom's of the opinion that not being employed now might turn future employers off. And I just really need a job so I don't have to keep watching my bank account shrink so fast. :( So yeah, hopefully Monday will be more about the good news than the bad. . .
Not much going on in DragonVale, and I'm starting to wonder if Hearthstone's having connection problems -- I got ANOTHER instant-concede win when I hit the playing field with Rexxar today. Is it really that common (so to speak) for people to just up and quit if they're facing a character they don't like? Fortunately I managed a proper win with him right afterward. Also threw Garrosh out there again, but he got his ass kicked again. I really have to unlock the rest of his basic cards. . .
In Spellfall, the Nightbane Brotherhood tower got recaptured, so I've been making my way through that to clear out the fresh infestation. Been great for leveling, though the monsters all being tougher means I've had to take the area pretty darn slowly. And I recently got my ass kicked by the pre-boss fight (really just a case of bad luck -- I couldn't get the second enemy's health depleted before he got to attack me again), so I gotta go back and do some easier fights to refill my Rune Charge meters so I'll be well-equipped to take them on again. I also bought an upgraded version of my ancient sword -- currently I'm still using my Shocking Doll, since that's been giving me great success in the attack department, but I might switch over for a few fights. We'll see.
Anyway, I gotta keep up with le replies, so I will say good night now. See you tomorrow!
